I stayed here for 3 days in November 2013. I arranged with them to be picked up by tuktuk at the airport for a reduced fee of $5.
This is the second time I have been to Phnom Penh. This hotel was better and cheaper than the other one paying £77 for three nights including breakfast for up to 2 people.
Being located on Street 130 it is an ideal central location – near the bars and the quay side. The room was not massive but big enough. It had a smallish modern TV (access to CNN news channel), a room safe was placed in it at my request, a good sized bathroom with modern fixtures and a great shower with plenty of hot water. It also had the usual king sized bed. The modern styling was good. The only down side was no window looking outside – fine for a short stay.
The staff were very good. Communication my email worked well and they were helpful over any problems and fixed things very well and quickly.
The breakfast was the type that is freshly cooked – not self service, and until 11 am! There was a piece of toast and one type of jam with meal choice. The choice of ‘main’ is good – the usual omelet or other type of egg, mushrooms (I think canned?), tomato, ham, etc. The one I liked was fresh fruit with honey and yoghurt. Nice good fresh food but I would like to have more included in the price with some flexibility. I would liked more than one or parts of the others of the available choices. e.g some yogurt and fruit plus a tomato omelet. Perhaps a bit of salad as well.
