Check in efficient. Breakfast good value as kids ate free. Bar reasonably priced. Room was clean, toiletries basic. Found staff I came into contact with polite and helpful.
Location of the hotel is its main selling point.
Have used several times before and will use again.
We are an elderly couple and were celebrating our Golden Wedding.
We had a very comfortable room, the beds were lovely and comfy. We don't eat big breakfasts and were delighted to be offered 'light' breakfasts by the restaurant staff.
All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The situation of the hotel is very good, within a short walk to Green Park, St James Park and Hyde Park. We enjoyed walking round the nearby streets and relaxing in Berkeley Square.

"Excellent Hotel situated in the centre of London"
I booked a superior room at the Cavendish for three nights stay over the weekend of 19-22 September. The staff proved very welcoming and helpful at all times. They have been exceptionally well trained and this is particularly true of the restaurant staff. My room on the 7th floor was situated near the lifts but I was completely undisturbed by any noise. Bathroom is well designed although I found the side of the bath fairly high for getting in an out of. This might prove a serious difficulty for a disabled person. The express lunch and early pre theatre dinner is excellent value and beautifully presented. My only complaint is that the food might have been a bit hotter. Breakfast (at £22) I found was rather expensive although there was a very wide choice on offer including Eggs Benedict. I would have preferred to have been offered a continental breakfast at a lower rate - fruit juice, cereal and toast. Overall I rate this hotel very highly and would certainly use it again and recommend it.
Arrived early, asked to leave luggage, receptionist arranged for us to get into our room within 20 minutes. Room was very comfortable & well appointed, albeit not large. Once we arrived, we walked to Covent Garden, the theatre in Shaftesbury Ave & later we went out for a meal, again walking to China Town. Had a great weekend, all staff were extremely friendly & helpful which started with the lady on reception & first impressions certainly count. Breakfast was also of a very good standard.
This hotel was a gem of a find. We were travelling with our 5 year old and wanted to be close to Hamleys. We walked out of this hotel and were at Hamleys within 1 minute. Also such a good location to be close to Oxford Circus, Covent Gardens etc. The apartment itself was spotless with great amenities and extremely friendly staff. My only negative was that the rollaway bed is perfect for an infant but if you're an adult your practically on the floor and sleeping on the springs. Luckily for me my wife got the brunt of the rollaway as the little one wouldn't sleep but that did not ruin our stay by any stretch. I would stay again without any hesitation.
