“Very restful couple of days - Beautiful well-kept hotel!”
When we arrived at the hotel, the Expedia liaison greeted us as we were sitting down to enjoy our Pina Colada's. She informed us about the amenities and tours available at the hotel. Since we were there for only 4 days, the only tour we chose was the City Tour. It was great! Especially the cliff divers. The food was great, with many choices. I especially loved the egg-whites cooked to your order in your presence and with so many fillings to choose from. Unfortunately, the day before we left my husband got sick. I called the desk and they said that they had a doctor who could come to the room and see him. Within 20 minutes he arrived and to my surprise spoke perfect English. He diagnosed my husband as having food poisoning and gave him 2 prescriptions, which were filled at the local pharmacy within an hour. I couldn't thank the desk clerk enough for helping us. I would love to complement the staff of the Park Royal. Even though most of the staff spoke Mexican/Spanish, they made every attempt to help us with whatever they could. The staff is constantly cleaning, washing, sweeping and taking care of the Peacocks (which are so fascinating to watch). I would love to return to the Park Royal, but my husband and I do not like to return to a place we have already visited. We've visited Mexico 3 times. By all means go to the Park Royal - you will love it.
“Fantastic hotel and service”
Great hotel, the all inclusive package was totally worth it. Spotless rooms, balconies overlooking the bay, beautiful landscaping, gorgeous pool area...the beach was small but adequate, and the view of the hills on the bay was beautiful. Great service, everyone was incredibly nice, the food was good (especially the Trattoria), nice activities in the hotel at night. It's a little far from the old city, so be ready for a 30 minute cab ride to get to the old city. The nightclubs are only a couple minutes away, however. Also, be prepared to make your own sightseeing plans, the concierge was totally unhelpful, I got the idea that once people get there no one leaves the hotel until it's time to go to the airport...had a great time!
“First choice for return trip”
We arrived at the hotel before we could check in but they gave us our all inclusive wrist bands and towels for the pool without a problem. There were no surprises when we arrived, the price we paid was the price advertised. The food and drinks were good. There are multiple restaurants within the hotel with different menus and atmospheres. The private beach was small but nice and did not have beach vendors. The previous trip to Acapulco we stayed on the other side of the bay on a busy beach with lots of beach vendors. The hotel had kayaks and snorkel gear. There were areas and activities for kids and adults, it is a well organized place. It is more than a walk away from many of the night spots. They are easily reachable by a 3-4 minute taxi ride, but if you want to be right in the middle of the action try a place on the other side of the bay. If you are ok with taxis then this is definitely a great place.
“Best vacation ever”
Beautiful multi-level hotel with lots of greenery all around. It has the mojo, if you know what I mean. Clean, well kept and organized, nice staff, good food (not greasy or too spiced up), beautifull views of the Acapulco Bay, fun games at the pool, it was everything I thought it will be and more!! We did not take kids with us but there was stuff for kids to do as well as for adults without kids.
“Excellent Stay!”
Amazing, friendly and helpful staff and great resort. I was travelling by myself so was concerned about safety, they made me feel so welcome, the manager Roberto organised a trip to see the cliffdivers for me which was excellent and I would highly recommend it. Room was clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the sea from the balcony, great beach and free kayaking each morning at 10.00am was excellent. Lovely pools and restaurants - I had a very relaxing stay. The staff were the friendliest I have seen at a resort, went out of their way to help and offer any advice. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
“great”
great spot would go back
“I will recommend the hotel to everyone.Great Service & staff”
Very good view from this hotel
“We hated to leave, wished we had booked a longer stay.”
We really enjoyed the resort. We liked that it is small enough that you do not get lost in the maze like some of the really big resorts. The private beach was great. We liked being away from the strip and all the noise.
“Friendly staff and relxing stay”
Had a nice and relaxing time - there were not many families, probably due to being there mid-week and outside the main season. Communicating with the staff in English was no problem at all and they were all extremely friendly and helpful. Down-town is some way away, but if your are looking for a place to relax this will do just fine.
“Awesome Vacation”
Wow, what a great time?? I could not think of a single negative thing to say about our stay. The people were friendly and courteous, our room was spotless, and the food was great.
