“Great stay for spring break”
Hotel was perfect, shared a room with 2 others. Perfect layout, and if you get a room with the view of the beach and the pool. which we did, you feel that your in the center of everything. Was perfect location along the beach, great tours etc availble and when you felt like you wnate dot be off spring break and on a normal holiday. You could go shopping in the Mall for a new bikini or eat some top class food. Staff were great, and when our shower broke they fixed it really quickly. Only negative - shower wasn't that great. But great stay for the money. If we ever go back, Playa suites is the one!
“The dining room service staff just couldn't do enough for us”
great location great food excellent service
“Would like to go every year!”
Excellent restaurant. Superb service in restaurant. The suite was truly a first class accomodation. Fast service at check in and departure. Only suggestion is to lower the sound of the music at the pool and especially to quiet down the young lady who shouts into the microphone. Guests actually left the pool to escape the noise. She doesn't need an amplifier.
“Great service”
I like the hotel, very clean, very nice, big room, great view. I wanted to relax and have fun, I did both.
“One of the Best on the beach”
overall the hotel was good, Great Location on the beach, there were some heavy delays with thier valet service and front desk, it does need a renovation the remote to our TV never worked after requesting a new one over three times, and the paint on the wall is chipping everywhere, Good Housekeeeping service
“Good food and views for the price”
Terrible front entrance compared to the other hotels along the Costera but nice hotel for the price. Right on the water with nice palm trees, but the sand was rough and the beach was crowded on the weekends. Still, overall a good place, as the food, service and views were great. The suite itself was very nice, except for a delapidated kitchen, but working fridge was good, and the free breakfast was huge and good and until noon, which was so nice of them to let us sleep in. Also, very very very nice waiters, so really good service, and for a buffet the food was very good. Uh, did I mention the food? The views were great at night, with fireworks one night right outside our room. Hotel entertainment for a group tour or something lasted until midnight but was not too bothersome. Nice waves crashing and sounds of families laughing in the pool. No Americans anywhere, but that was fine. Oh, the only real negative was the front desk was located way away from the front door - almost hard to find -- and you had to go there to get ice after 7, and unlike the waiters, the front desk staff were not helpful or friendly at all, but not terrible. I speak fluent Spanish and they weren't nice to me even then! check out took forever. But overall, definitely worth the money.
“Impressed”
Good Hotel
“Good for the price”
The air conditioning needs to work better. The dinning room closes at 10:30 and should be open longer.
“Good for the price”
The hotel was great for the price we paid compared with other hotel prices in the area. The area was good, close shops and only a few minutes from La Quebrada.
“Great value, good view and location, busy and noisy pool”
Hotel was ok for the money. Nice spacious room (Bahia Suite) great view from balcony. Right on the beach and near all amenities. The biggest downside was the busy pool with loud dj music and full of kids. We went during a holiday long weekend so other times it may be quieter. The hotel was a busy Mexican family place. If you don't like kids, and want a peaceful swim don't stay here, if want good value, location, and spacious clean room and don't mind the busy pool then its a bargain!!!
