“Enjoyed our stay”
this hotel is on the edge of downtown...corner of 8th and central...which is a hugely travelled road...beware if you need to get a round during the day...but it is within walking distance of some good restaurants...also has a light breakfast in the mornings...bagels, waffles, toast, fruit...the staff was friendly and very helpful...hotel was clean and quiet...room itself was very nice with tempurpedic beds...very cool...i would not hesitate staying here again...as far as security we both felt safe here and walking around...your car can be locked underground behind room card access gates
“Don't judge this "book" by its cover. You'll miss a gem.”
The owners of this property have spent their reno money where it counts - in the rooms . The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. I just replaced my own bed and am sorry now I didn’t get a Tempur Pedic mattress. The TV was a new Samsung with Direct TV. The bathroom is small but it too has been redone and there is everything you may need - toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, shaving cream - plus all the normal amenities. The microwave and fridge are new too and there’s a coffee maker. Breakfast was good and included Starbucks coffee. The shuttle service saved me a fortune in taxis. One day, one of the shuttle drivers noticed me walking back from one of the museums and he stopped and picked me up. This is an example of the fabulous service I received at this property. The location is also great. I did use the shuttle several times but I also walked to the zoo, convention center, the train station and Old Town. Nothing was very far away. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
“Good Stay”
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Blue. We arrived Saturday morning and they had no problem checking us in early. We really appreciated that as we were very tired and needed a nap. Across the street, there was a farmers market and we enjoyed walking around that. We loved sleeping on the Tempur-pedic mattress and watching DirecTV on the big flat screen TV. Because of those two things, we were very comfortable. Breakfast downstairs was fine....typical continental breakfest with added bonus of waffle maker and starbucks coffee. All in all, a good stay....not a luxury hotel, but very comfortable!
“Hotel Blue”
Nice place to stay on the edge of the old "Main Street". In walking distance to historic area.
“Best Price/Quality”
This was of the best hotels on our 12 day trip. Very well located : downtown and very close to the old town Albuquerque. Excellent amenities in the room. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Would definitely recommend it for leisure and business stay.
“Hotel Blue Downtown”
For the price, I could not have found a better location or value. I was very impressed in the cleanliness 0f the room. It would have been good for any purpose (vacation or business). I was very pleased with my experience at Hotel Blue Downtown.
“Best so far in Albuquerque!”
I have stayed in many different hotels and motels, new and old, and I would definitely say this is in my top five when I take into account service, cleanliness, age of the hotel, and price. The only suggestion I would make to this hotel is invest in a heated pool. The continental breakfast is definitely has some of the best selections I have seen and all of the staff is very helpful.
“Very Satisfactory”
Hotel was clean, friendly service, secure parking lot with locked gates, convenient downtown location within walking distance of many local amenities and conference. Would recommend and use this hotel myself again on next trip to Albuquerque.
“Plain but helpful staff and good location.”
We couldn't have asked for a more helpful staff when arriving at this recently renovated hotel. The rooms were standard quality with outside corridors. But the parking was gated. In addition, the desk staff was more than helpful in providing us recommendations for sight seeing and dining in our limited amount of free time.
“A nice place to stay!”
We were on vacation with the bowling league. This hotel was in a good location and we were within walking distance to the convention center. They also shuttled us to the Convention center, Old Town, and the Airport. The desk clerks were of great help and were very friendly. It isn't a new facility, but a comfortable and affordable alternative. The beds were awesome!
