“Good hotel - great location”
Only stayed one night but thought it was a great place to stay. The location appears to be perfect - very close to the old town and the harbour. Room I had was very nice and had obviously been refurbished quite recently. Nice furniture, nice bathroom - good air conditioning (important). Helpful staff - and despite central location, room at front was quiet. At the price I paid through Expedia, it was a bargain.
“Pretty faultless”
The place has a small lobby but the rooms are big and the staff are extremely helpful. For location, in front of the imposing town hall, it cannot be bettered. It is extremely comfortable.
“Awesome location at great price”
Located in the perfect spot, less than 5 mins walk to beach in one direction and less than 5 mins walk to bars and restaurants in the other. Very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff 24 hours. Have to pay for wireless internet. Otherwise great value, going back for sure.
“Great Hotel”
Tucked away in the corner of a square opposite the Town Hall, this hotel seems to have been recently refurbished and the reasonably proportioned rooms offer good quality accommodation. Certainly recommended for long weekend break.
“100% Recommended! We will be going back next year!”
Hotel overall was excellent. Room was spacious, bathroom was very clean and felt luxurious. Our room had a/c which was a god send! The Hotel is located close to the beach, marina and restaurants. 10 minute walk from the central bus station. Could have done with some more tourist information. The staff were friendly.
“Perfect location”
An excellent choice for a few days away. The hotel is perfectly located in the main plaza opposite the attractive town hall. Within 2 minutes we could walk to the marina, the tram station, about 20 tapas bars or the beach. A small hotel that does exactly what we needed it to do plus it was centrally located to make it easy to pop back during the day. The only two things that it could improve upon were the extremely hard beds and the fact that as it has hardwood floors or marble in the bathroom, it gets very noisy when the people in the room above walk up and down. As the hotel is so central, also means that outside noise is an issue and earplugs would have done the trick to a peaceful night. Overall, we loved it and would book this hotel again. Whether we will be able to do that at the same per night price is unlikely, but was worth twice as much.
“Very nice little hotel”
Stayed one night before flying out of Alicante. Good location and very good price for the size of room. Very nice bathroom and facilities. The walls are a little on the thin side and we could hear the neighbours children talking, but all was quiet for sleeping so not a problem. Would stay at this hotel again for it's convenience and price. The Tapas bar in the square close by was very pricey so it's worth looking around.
“Highly recommended....”
We stayed for a week's holiday and would definitely stay there again. Although the hotel does not have an impressive lobby or bar, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and very clean. The only problem that we experienced was noise - the hotel is located right in the heart of the old town, which is great for evenings out, but means that it can be noisy at night. After the first night we asked to be moved to a higher floor - the staff couldn't have done more to help and after moving up to the fifth floor we had no further problems. Although there is no pool, the hotel is 2 minutes from a beautiful beach, and the roof terrace is great for pre-dinner drinks watching the sunset.
“Excellent hotel, location and staff.”
The hotel was in a fantastic location, very clean and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. As we were on a budget we only took hand luggage so we asked if we could buy beach towels anywhere and they offered to lend us some free of charge. We had a late flight back so instead of charging us for late check out they offered us a shower room and towels so we could spend the day on the beach and then shower and change for a return flight home. Would definitely stay there again!!
“little gem”
this hotel was great, although we had some noise disturbance on one occasion from party people the receptionist was more than happy to move us to the 6th floor for our last night. the 6th floor is smoking,,,so a tip to get on the top floor is to ask for a smoking room. the room was cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels. a very comfortable modern room with a big bed and balcony, (much better views at the top tho)!! its in the square with a clock tower and a street away from the beach. all the bars/restaurant are behind the hotel among many many lanes and streets. We loved the feel to alicante (we're 22,25)its not a place where u will find the typical english tourist family!!

Alicante, Spain: The provincial capital, Alicante is a bustling city with an excellent beach, a new marina, buzzing nightlife, and an atmospheric old quarter. High above the port, the Castillo de Santa Barbara looks down into the Barrio Santa Cruz, a picturesque warren of whitewashed streets, its little houses with window grills and geraniums, reminiscent of Andalusia. This is the heart of the citys nightlife, full of hole-in-the-wall bars and clubs.
