“Excellent seafront location”
Slight warning to other visitors: There are 3 types of room - Standard rooms which are situated on the side of the building; Front sea view rooms on the front of the building and Finally 'interior' rooms which look out onto what is called a courtyard - but which in fact is an area of approx 20 feet by 15 feet complete with air conditioning pipework and drains. When one is on the 3rd floor of the 6 floors as we were it was difficult to see the sky. We did have a balcony. If space permitted we could have changed rooms. Overall cleanliness was excellent with absolutely no nasty drain smells. We had a problem with the electronic card key for the safe just as we were to leave - following a call to reception a maintenance person arrived to open the safe within literally two minutes.
“The best Spanish hotel in Benidorm”
We have stayed at the Marconi four times now.The staff are very helpful and nice. They now remember us probably because when we go it seems we are the only english guests .It is mainly Spanish people who stay there and they are older people but this does not bother us ,as when we go to Spain it is nice to spend time with Spanish people. The hotel is very clean and the maid comes in every day although this time I thought perhaps the room could have done with painting and the curtain neede repairing but perhaps this was because it was late in the season . When we stay again I think we would probably stay on a room only basis if we could as breakfast can be a bit of an experience and even making a cup of tea can be a bit of a trial although the staff and guests did help us out ! .They had dancing on one of the evenings and we did join in and had a lot of fun. It is in a good position for the old town and the beach .We had a large balcony and the view was amazing. The lady on reception was very helpful on our arrival and directed us to a road where we could park the car for free . We found a great Spanish bar up the road that did great breakfasts and were very freindly and cheap . About 200 hudred yards up the road was a great restaurant with superb food and very reasonably priced. All in all we had yet another great stay at the Marconi and special thanks to the bar manager Jose who as always was very efficent and a really nice man.
“Would definately recommend”
This hotel is in the "quieter" part of Benidorm, but handy if you want to get to the other side quickly, the position of the hotel is excellent, the breakfast was excellent and rooms were more than acceptable, this hotel is very good value for money.
“Very impressed”
Great location. Walk distance to all attractions. Shopping street right next to the hotel. Subway station 2 minutes walk. Room was clean. Hotel condition extremely well. Free Wi-Fi. But usually at reception crowded. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time. Great value for the money.
“Professional standards”
All aspects of my stay at the hotel where maintained to a hight standard but the staff do need some basic English
“Good value hotel in excellent location on pontiente beach close to Old Town”
A good well run hotel close to centre of old benidorm, exceptionally clean with friendy staff. Just two small points-The buffett choice was very limited and often the same but at small cost per day full board, cannot complain as food was better than adequet. T.V. had just one spanish channel. But with beach right opposite and old town close by, why watch T.V.? I would certainly go back to Marconi, for location. Alan
“Good Location”
Great location - quiet area but bars/restaurants/general nightlife an easy walk away for those that want to indulge. Stay on a B&B or Room only basis if you can - food not great (and I do not mean that it is not'geared towards Brits' - it really was quite poorly prepared when we stayed. Don't let this put you off though - spotless and comfortable.
“clean,pleasant and convenient”
the hotel is in a great location, handy for beaches and nightlfe. room was clean and staff were happy to help. only downside was i booked a single room and the shower unit was tiny
“Nice enough Hotel”
Location: excellent Food: good Beach:very good It was a nice hotel with evrything very near by. Excellent markets and shops....Has a nice roof top swimming pool...
“Would not go back”
As we arrived at 3am in the morning we could not see exactly what we had let ourselves in for. It was clean on first impression but as the first day went on we realised that this a hotel for Spanish people nad not the English. Not many of the staff could speak English and my wife and I were glad to get out and go to the other end of benidorm each day. We certainly would never ever stay at this hotel again.

Area:
Benidorm, Spain: Young fun-seekers and families looking for a beach holiday with plenty of evening entertainment have made Benidorm one of Spains most popular resorts. Densely-developed, its superb long golden beaches are screened by a forest of skyscraping hotels. However an Old Town still survives and is the place to go for authentic Spanish food. Benidorm is top destination for family attractions with two theme parks, a huge water park and a marine life park.
