“Worth the tram ride!”
We were very happy with the Blue Tower. While some might like to stay closer to the city center, we were happy to have our quiet hotel location. The public transportation was very close and easy to figure out. There is a great coffee and bagel shop around the corner. This was a much better option than the overpriced mediocre breakfast that the hotel served. The staff was friendly, the rooms were very nice and hotel itself felt very modern. We would all stay there again. This is not the hotel to stay at if you are looking to be close to nightlife, but with all of Amsterdam a 15 minute busride away...this is the place to stay for a great price, a clean room, a comfortable bed and a quiet coffeeshop to plan your next crazy fun day in Amsterdam. I would definitely stay here agian!
“Excellent hotel”
It was an excellent hotel to stay out, just out of the city centre. Easy access to Dam Square and all of the attractions. Service was friendly and very helpful.
“Good hotel”
This hotel is somewhat out of the way, but has easy access to public transportation, and major roads. Clean, good breakfast, electric kettle in room a plus.
“Very clean & pleasant.”
Try & get a room on the top 4 floors as the view is excellent. We stayed on the 10th facing the market square. The view is exceptional!
“Can't wait to go back”
All in all it was a very good trip. I will go back next year for a longer period.
“Nice , Modern, Hotel Outside City Centre”
Bottom line, I would probably book in this hotel again, yes, it's not in the City Centre, but based on Tourist Class Hotels w/ European Standards, this is a pretty modern hotel, and hotels like this would be expensive if it's within the tourists spots, besides, there's a tram/bus stations just around the block. Despite what other reviewers have said, the air/heat system is working well, it just operates differently, there's a guest book in the room and it has instructions how to make it work. I guess the only bad part is the wi-fi, it's so difficult to connect to, sometimes you can't even connect! However, the wi-fi in the lobby works well. if you don't mind paying 14euros for breakfast, I recommend it, great food, coffee etc. to start your day. The service is also good, clerks in the reception were very helpful and nice.
“Excellent hotel”
The bed is so comfy. The room is clean and spacious. The tv programme has wide selection of channels. It has a nearby tram and bus stops. There are 2 big supermarkets right downstairs to the building. There's even a chinese-european fusion restaurant on the 1st floor of the hotel which serves good food.

Rooms were clean, neat and comfortable - ideal for families or groups of travellers. Staff were friendly and service excellent.

A short bus ride to city attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cheap "park and ride" parking available next to hotel.Unfortunately,no fridge in room but very nice hotel.

The hotel was amazing very clean and comfortable as well affordable..bus lines very close to hotel as well grocery stores and other stores to accommodate any needs that are present..cant wait to go back and stay there again...
