“Would stay there again”
I was very pleased with my stay at The Avenue hotel. It was in a great location, really easy to find, as it was my first trip to Amsterdam. Although the room was small, the bathroom was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful when answering my numerous questions about the city, and above all this hotel was very affordable. I would stay there again :)

“Comfortable, well-run hotel”
The Avenue was all that one would expect from a *** hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast, which set us up for the day. The hotel was very central. The one thing that surprised us was that the coffee shop mentioned in web sites had been closed, but we enjoyed a drink in the small bar.

Great hotel which is very convienient to everything yet quite at night therefore able to get a good nights sleep. A excellant breakfast with a great choice to set you up for a day of sightseeing. Staff very helpful and pleasant. If you are looking for good value, with everything you require take a walk down "The Avenue"
“Excellent Location, would highly recommend.”
After wandering aimlessly for around 40 minutes after leaving central station we found the Avenue Hotel. The hotel is actually less than 5 minutes from the station and Dam Square. It is also extremely handy for most of the 'touristy' things in Amsterdam, ie, red light district, Anne Franks House, Canal Boat Tours etc. Our room was extremely warm which we found to be a good thing. The bathroom was clean and we had specified a shower which we got. The hotel bar is relatively small but we did not use it as we were out and about most of the time. The breakfast was served until 10.30am on weekends which is always good when your nursing a heavy head and the choice at breakfast was vast. They had 3 cereals, ham, cheese and bread for a continental breakfast and they also had eggs of different varieties, bacon, sausages and beans for those who prefer a cooked breakfast. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel as it ticked all the boxes for me. Good location. Clean. Reasonable price. Nice choice for breakfast. 5/5

“better then expected”
when i arrived the staff on receotion were friendly and welcoming the room was very clean and comfortable only downside is you had to pay for tea and coffee but the hotel was excellent both in location and service quality i would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a centrally located place to stay and i would definately stay there again
“Didem”
Location is very good. Breakfas was very nice. We stayed in a triple room and room was big enough for three people. Beds were very comfortable but furnitures are very old in the room.

the avenue end hotel was fantastic for us ,it was centrally located to all the main areas .two minutes away from the train station ,a big bonus is the massive breakfast spread eat all u want sets u up for the whole day ,staff were all nice and helpful .i can honestly say i have no complaints whatever about this hotel and would most certainly stay there again
