“Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city!”
Very comfortable, clean and the service was great!
“Great Hotel in central location”
Right in the middle of Amsterdam, nice quiet street, a walk to everything...
“Outstanding reasonably priced hotel”
The Radisson Blu in downtown Amsterdam is a beautifully designed hotel that took a few older buildings, preserved their facades, created a glass covered interior courtyard, and fitted modern rooms and amenities throughout. The rooms are on the smaller side by American standards, but good-sized by European standards. The fitness center is small, but reasonably equipped with a treadmill, an elliptical machine, a spin cycle, and an exercise bike, together with a few pieces of weight equipment and freeweights. There is a sunning bed and a sauna (co-ed, as is usually the case on the continent). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is south of the Red Light District (perfectly safe to walk around) but easily accessible from the Central Station by either walking or by tram to one stop past the Dam. The rooms are very comfortable, although I found the mattress a little too soft and the pillows a little too firm. That, of course, is an individual preference. There is a small, open closet with a closet bar to hang some clothes - I would have preferred a larger closet. Those are minor issues with an otherwise outstanding hotel that provides good value and location for the price. Free wireless internet in all the rooms is a huge plus.

“Great Choice”
Having never been to Amsterdam, I had to depend on these expedia reviews to pick my hotel. Fortuneately, they were honest and accurate. The Radison is in a great location within walking distance to everything. Very clean and we experienced no problems during our stay. I found the staff very accomadating and helpful in explaining the tram system, best inexpensive places to eat, best currency conversion place, and most interesting sites. Several nice cafes and bars around the corner. I would highly recomend this hotel and will definitely stay there next time.
“Hotel is good”
