“GREAT STAY IN AMSTERDAM”
LOVED SAYING AT THIS HOTEL. Our plane arrived very early (8:00 a.m.) so we were at the hotel by just after 9 a.m. We caught the train from the airport and it is very close to Central Station in Amsterdam, but it was raining so we were soaking wet. We were immediately given towels to dry ourselves off and passes to the Club Room to get coffee, food, etc. Our room was ready by 10:30 a.m. (we arrived the day after Queens Day celebrations) which was amazing as the town was very busy. Anyway, our room was perfect, free breakfast in Club Room good, afternoon cocktails and snacks tasty, and dessert and after dinner drinks also good. People were friendly and we would stay there again. Everyone spoke English too. Added bonus, it is a Marriott Hotel.
“Quality, location and comfort!!”
A great hotel at a fantastic location.Tucked away in a quiet street in the centre of Amsterdam yet a stone's throw away from Damrak, Dam Square and the Central station. Tram stop is 2 mins walk away. Rooms are good size and beds comfortable. Staff is very friendly and receptive. On our arrival the ventilation in the room was faulty, an engineer came around within 5 mins and after failing to fix the problem we were transferred to a bigger room and the luggage moved while we were away. Buffet breakfast was very good with a nice variety. There are ice machines on every floor which is helpful. Wifi internet charges are high ~20 Euro/24hr.
“Very nice”
It was a little bit chilly in our room. Location is amazing - the best. Staff is also great - nice and helpful. Rooms are nice, large and clean. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Great Hotel and Great Location, 1st choice for me in Amsterdam”
Hotel accommodation was great, i have now stayed there 3 times and loved it. Rooms where clean and quiet, great comfortable beds. The Breakfast was a bit expensive even for continental breakfast, but there is lots of local cafes near by for a good breakfast, looking forward to going back
“Impressive hotel in Amsterdam”
The Rennaissance Amsterdam Hotel is a surprisingly great hotel in the city. Service is excellent with a well trained and corteous staffs. The room I stayed in is extremely well furnished and very comfortable. I would definitely stay in this hotel in my future visits in Amsterdam!
“PAID TV ONLY !!! so add 20 euros per night”
only PAID TV !! this u find out when u get there which adds 20 euros to the rate other than that the hotel is very clean , staff is friendly and they all spoke good english, hotel location is great but the room view wasn't nice actually there was no view, the room was quite big for european standards
“Location, Location, Location- Perfect”
My husband and I had a great time at the hotel. It was smack dab in the middle of everything. We were couple blocks from Centraal Station and around the corner from shopping and dining. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
“Blast in Amsterdam”
This is our 5 stay at this hotel and it get's better everytime. Great resturant , excellent food , rooms are clean and layed out to give you a comfortable fell. Bar is great too. Location is the best. 10 min walk to central station or the tram system or walk to your destination. This is the only hotel my wife and I stay at when in Amsterdam.
“Very good hotel”
Great location, and newly renovated. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam. It was my fist visit, and this hotel's central location allowed me to visit all the sites easily.
“best value and location for amsterdam”
during most of my travels thru europe i've mostly been dissatisfied with the hotels i've stayed in, regardless of the cost. this is one place that i found great value for a great hotel. the location is just steps away from many cafes and restaurants within a very central location. the room was very comfortable and very clean with a great bed !!
