“GREAT STAFF”
My granddaughter picked this hotel because one of the reviews stated it was haunted in room 106. Since my promise to my granddaughter was that I would check this room out, I went to the front desk and explained the reason I was staying there was because my granddaughter wanted to see a haunted hotel. They were wonderful. Since no one was staying in that room, they made a key and took me into the room so that I could take pictures for my granddaughter. With staff like this who were willing to accomodate a "crazy" request, I would stay there anytime I visited. I believe the hotel can only be a great as the staff.
“best b-day party”
Every year I try to celebrate my son's b-day at the Courtyard. Being that it is in January, in Alaska , it is the best place to throw a party. One year, the pool wasn't available, so I booked a room at another hotel. I asked if the pool was open and why I wanted it. They asked that I book another room even though I had enough adult supervision. Being that I am a single parent on a fixed income, I thought that was just wrong and rude. In the future, I will always book with Courtyard because they are very professional, courtious and attentive!!!
“Nice for a late arrival from the airport”
Very smooth transition from the airport to the hotel. Nice accomodations. They also helped with transferring us to our rendezvous spot for the tour/cruise the next day.
“Very convenient when having to fly out early”
We arrived in Anchorage mid morning and our flight was not scheduled to leave until 10:30 pm so we checked in left our suitcases in the hotel, went downtown for lunch and a movie, came back and rested for a couple of hours ready to take our late flight. It is convenient and comfortable.

“You get what you ask for”
Our first night was in a room that wasnt working for us. We asked for another room and in the blink of an eye we were transferred to another room. No problem! When I had internet connection problem that was taken care of right off. When I needed a roll away bed for my grandson we got it. When extra blankets were needed they were at the door in record time. Hats off to the employees of Courtyard Marriott of Anchorage!! Wonderful people!
“A nice anchorage in Anchorage”
Very friendly staff. Very clean. Even had a little place to eat. Conveniently located near airport. Provided free shuttle to and from airport and railroad. Highly recommended.
“Great Near Airport Hotel”
We were here very briefly, just the night we got into Anchorage. It was perfect because it is less than 5 minutes from the airport. Check in was painless and quick (thank God since it was after midnight), as was check out the next day. Good breakfast selection at the cafe next to the lobby. I also just really like the way the king size rooms are set-up (bed facing window vs. wall).
“Warm welcoming staff”
Everyone at this hotel was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was great, and the business center was a real asset.
“Great Stay!”
we went there for a relaxing "girls only" weekend and enjoyed the stay very much. especially the pool area--thumbs up for the hot tub and the sauna! water in the pool was a little chilly but a few laps solved that problem. we had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard and will be back again!
