“two night stay”

“Best Value Stay Near Anchorage”

The hotel is about 16 miles from Anchorage. The room is large, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice. It has a large supermarket and many restaurants nearby. It has breakfast with bread, cereal, juice and milk, nothing fancy but it's a good start for the day. Pricewise is reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

“A good hotel”

We enjoyed our 4 night stay and had no problems there. It was clean, the staff was polite and helpful, and the continental breakfast was good. The only problem a person might encounter was the traffic noise, but we live near noisy train tracks at home, so it didn't bother us. This is a good hotel at a reasonable price. It is located about 15 miles north of Anchorage, which kept us out of city traffic, but was close to taking interesting day trips, like the Chugach State Park and Thunderbird Falls. We had an excellent meal at the Thai/Vietnamese restaurant a short distance down and on the other side of the road.

We stayed 8 nights and found the staff extremely anxious to make sure we had everything we needed. They have a friendly family feeling in the lobby especially at breakfast. Nothing fancy about the rooms but clean and adequate. Pricing was good also.

“Good value - July near Anchorage”

This is a newer motel - some in Anchorage area are rough. Good value for a July stay just north of Anchorage. Nearby Italian restaurant a pleasant surprise. Mororcycle friendly.

Very good accomadations at a resonable price.

“Good hotel”

Decent hotel for a overnight stay. Didn't have a air-conditioner (although they offered a fan though) which i don't think is needed. Room was neat with microwave and refrigerator.

“Smallish”

The name "Microtel" should be a clue. The room was clean and neat but very small. It was a challenge finding places for all our clothes. Though we asked them not to use air freshener in the room, they did it anyway, causing problems for my asthmatic wife. The location, however, was extremely convenient for our needs.
