“Awesome!”
The hotel was the rustic West Indies style with open air rooms cooled by ocean breezes. The staff was excellent!
“Would go back in a heartbeat!”
Best place on the island for total rest and relaxation. Staff friendly and willing to help. Beach was small, but fine. Food was fine dining - well prepared and presented. Bugs were an issue, but did not spoil our trip. Open door shower and deck were a treat. Ceiling fan was adaquate and bed net was needed.
“Will be a regular guest there!”
I really enjoyed my stay there. I don't think there is a prettier location in all of the Caribbean. The pool is especially nice and looks out over the sea. It is stunning! I went there to relax and get some sun and so it was perfect. The beach is also great and there are water sports and activities. The meals were included in the package and there was quite good food. The rooms are not modern, but I really loved it and found it comfortable. There are ceiling fans and floor fans and mosquito nets and a lovely hammock on the balcony...cool breezes and I really felt like I had gone back in time. The location is pretty good in Antigua - not far from Jolly Beach, which is a centre of activity, and the desk at the hotel helped me organize for renting a motorbike to drive around the island. All in all, a fantastic, relaxing holiday - just what I needed. As I have just bought a house in St. Kitts, I will visit Antigua regularly and will make Cocobay my "second home."
“A nice honeymoon”
I've just come back for my honeymoon at Cocobay Resort and we were extremely satisfied with everything. The food was excelent, the stuff was very friendly and the hotel overall was perfect.
“Very good”
Hotel staff were very friendly, hotel facillities good, cottages beautiful. The food is very, very good. The only downside or upside, depending on how you look at it, is: because the resort is quite small, you can't be very anonymous, you get in touch with other guests quite easily.
“Peaceful and Relaxing”
Our honeymoon was fantastic thanks to Cocobay! We had a wonderful time. If you enjoy relaxing by the ocean, this is the place for you. We really enjoyed the all-inclusive plan and loved the cottage rooms. It seemed so private, yet we were sharing this resort with others. We can not describe how wonderful our experience was and can not wait to return to Cocobay!
“Beautiful!”
Spent a week at the hotel in one of the seafront cottages and it was really beautiful! Splendid view on the bay and opposite mountains, spectacularly turquoise, warm water, nice little snorkeling reef at the long and quite hotel beach (better in the morning with clearer water), nice and attentive service, very good and diverse food (especially for dinner; lunch was buffet style) and pleasant evening entertainment 2-3 times a week. Very much enjoyed the quiet, little hotel that does not show the typical symptoms (and clientele) of all-inclusive-resorts, that would have put us off. No children, no phones, no TV, no radio - quiet atmosphere all around. Except by taxi there is no any other entertainment during day or night. Cottages are sufficiently small and simply equipped with nice wood furniture and wood floors, all rooms have moskito nets, bathroom door opens on wooden balcony with view on the bay while in the shower. They are nicely situated on a small hill over the beach within a nice garden area all within a few steps from the restaurant, bar and beach. Just lovely! Can only recommend this hotel!
“Perfect getaway”
I just vacationed in cocobay and wished i would have stayed longer it was the most relaxing and beautiful place , i am already planning on returning back i recommend cocobay to everyone its gorgeous and the food is great !
“So relaxing”
It was a wonderful place to be! We loved relaxing. The food was delicious, and dinner was the best!
“Can't imagine there is much better value in Antigua”
Booked on the understanding from previous reviews that this is a low-tech relaxation resort, it met all of our expectations and in terms of views, service and food, exceeded them. The local beaches are excellent. Do wear insect repellent from day one though.

Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda: This English-speaking island was once Great Britains most important Caribbean outpost. Now, the coral reefs that attracted the Royal Navy make the island a paradise for snorkelers and scuba divers, and the winding coastline features numerous secluded, sandy beaches.
