“Great location and awesome staff”
The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk to the centre and most attractions. Excellent laudromat half way to the main square. Secure parking (about 15 Euros for overnight stay.
“Until the next time”
This was our second visit and I can see no reason to change my last review. Looking forward to our next visit, if we can get in, because it's very often booked up.

The hotel was basic but clean and comfortable. It was very central for restaurants and sightseeing in the old town and the staff were friendly and helpful.
“Good value Hotel.”
Excellent Hotel. Ample, clean rooms. Good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Good location. What more can you ask? Seems to be under-rated at 2*. Only things, I can think of, that could be improved are the installation of central heating (although efficient heaters are provided) and the provision of tea/coffee making facilites in the rooms. Wil certainly stay at the hotel again.
“Good hotel for visiting Antwerp”
Good value basic hotel. Central location, within easy walking distance of the shops and bars. A wide range of choice for breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
“Good central location”
This hotel was very convenient for all of Antwerps main attractions including some excellent restaurants, bars and shops within a 2 minute walk. The hotel staff were very helpful at giving local information and directions. The room was very basic, but clean. A good value continental breakfast was included in the room rate.
“Great place to stay”
This is a great 'little' hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sits in the centre of Antwerp so walking distance for everthing. Rooms are basic however, very clean. Would recommend asking for fan (ventilation) for room as it is very warm.
“No-nonsense good hotel”
Very helpful staff. Very good position for centre of town, trams and local cafes, shops and bars. Decent size rooms. Clean but not brand new. Good quality breakfast. Lots of hot water for shower. Excellent value for money. I would recommed this hotel.
“Hotel National”
Stayed here before 3 years ago. Hotel in an excellent area easy acess to all attractions. Big dissapointment was that the hotel was under construction, we did know this but it was suppost to be finished in March. No bar ay the moment. Parking was also included when we went last time, now you park in the carpark near the hotel, which was expensive. Breakfast was very good but could of been better if they had provided cerial. Overall this is a good hotel and it will be even better when it is finished. Yes I would stay here again.
“Not impressive rooms/facilities, but awesome location and staff”
Cons: 1. Promised early check in. Not provided 2. First room given was w/o telephone. 3. Internet is not existent in rooms. 4. Rooms old, no view, shower curtain moldy - got changed after asking Pros: 1. Staff awesome, everyone helpful, polite, apologetic regarding Internet 2. Local is awesome 3. Breakfast is good
