“Marriott”
We've now stayed in Aruba twice; once at the Marriott hotel and now at the Ocean Club. This is a great resort with friendly and helpful staff that make your stay experience a top priority. Having the hotel next door is great since their facilities stay open much later and in the case of the coffee shop, all night. The beach accomodations are also top notch and they don't nickle and dime you on cabanas and chairs etc. I would strongly recommend this resort to families since they have activities every day. Even our 18-year old wasn't bored!
“Relaxing Vacation”
We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Ocean Club very much. Having 2 children the hotel was very kid friendly with many children activities for them. The rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. This was not the first time we were on Aruba but the first time at the Marriot and definately recommend this place.
“Fell in love with the Club”
When we got to Ocean Club and got our room, I was disappointed because it was not on upper floors and didn't really have a great of view. When we asked to be moved, they did not have any rooms to move us to. As the week went on, I realized they were absolutely full and I see why. It's a time share and many people return year after year. The Marriott is great. It's clean, great location, best beach area, and nice pools! There is a ongoing fight with the pools. Surf can't use Ocean and Ocean can't use Surf. But, people still try and do it and I saw several irritated people complaining about it. The Surf Club has a really cool pool with a lazy river but the Ocean Club's pool is really lagoon like and not as many kids. Too bad you just can't use both when you are staying at either place - it really shouldn't matter but the timeshare owners of each decided you couldn't. The housekeeping was great and the Ocean Club is very clean. I love Marriott's BEDS! They were so comfortable. The bartenders at the swim up bar were great! Try Wilma's Slippery Monkey - it's De-Lish and a special recipe created by her! Giavanny is great too! Always had a smile for us. We will definately go back next summer and it's out of the hurricane zone so it's perfect 90 degrees every day! Very humid though. Stellaris Casino was fun for about 2 days and then you realize you will not win... so go back to the pool and beach and forget it. Spend your money on some great food and excursions!
“Absolutely Perfect!”
My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in Aruba and could not be more pleased with this choice. Our room provided us with exactly what we were promised and all other needs were promptly met. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and a tiday bed to come home to after a long day at the beach. The concierge was extremely hopeful in booking dinner for us every single night and booking excursions for us 4-5 days out of the week! The only regret we have .... not staying longer!
“I will go back again in next 3 months”
The Marriott location and facility is fabulous. Near the center of the action but also private in location.
“Great Hotel Stay”
The hotel was fantastic! The beach was gorgeous and centrally located. The pools were so nice on all of the Marriott properties there was no need to leave the hotel.
“Very Impressed”
I've been going too the island for over 18 years and this time was the first time I stayed at the Marriott's Ocean Club and I was very impressed. I believe it was the best hotel I've stayed at while visiting Aruba. It was an amazing time for my family and I. The workers were always very helpful.
“One of the best hotels I've ever stayed”
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
“Overall good experience”
Overall Nice hotel. Rooms are a little older, but clean. Service is Island style, a little slower but fine if you relax and enjoy. Lots of room for the money and a one bedroom worked really well for the four of us (we took our teenagers).
“Very nice...we will go back.”
We were very impressed. Although we went during the traditional February vacation period we did not find the area too crowded. However, their high end restaurant had marginal service and quality with very expensive prices. To be fair, the food was not the reason we came and was generally OK and as could be expected from a large hotel chain.

Area:
Palm Beach, Aruba: The question on Palm Beach is this: lounge or live large? Theres a reason the major resorts and clubs are located near these calm waters. The beach is an ideal place to do absolutely nothing, with a cold drink in hand. Theres also swimming, golf, horseback riding, ATV rentals, and plenty of water sports.
