The Gant - Aspen offers two heated outdoor swimming pools, three spa tubs, an exercise facility with locker rooms and saunas, ski and bicycle equipment storage, and two hard-surface and three low-dust clay tennis courts. During summer, a full-time tennis pro instructs, organizes playing partners and tournaments, and arranges for equipment maintenance. Guests are offered complimentary access to the Aspen Club and Spa, a 77,000-square-foot facility that offers a variety of health and wellness services through its SpaAspen, SalonAspen, and Sports Medicine Institute.
The Aspen Skiing Company oversees four mountains: Ajax, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass. Ajax, four blocks from the hotel, has 76 trails ranging from more difficult to expert. It's accessible by eight lifts, including the Silver Queen Gondola, which makes the trip between the base and the summit in 14 minutes.
Both Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk, which is home to Aspen's ski school, are three miles from downtown Aspen and offer trails ranging from beginner to expert. Snowmass, with the highest summit and largest ski terrain of the four, is ten miles from Aspen. It also has trails accommodating all levels of skiers and has 21 lifts; seven of these are high-speed quad chairs. Other nearby winter activities include ice skating, snowshoeing, and snowboarding.
In summer, recreational activities include whitewater rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding, jeep tours, parasailing, mountain biking, and golf.

“The Gants Great”
Would recommend to anyone. Well located. within Asoen. Hotel provides local shuttle. Staff infomative and friendly.

“Very nice family hotel”
Started well with an upgrade, ended well with their free shutle (to and from airport, all over town too). Stayed in a two bedroom suite, over 900 sq/ft, superb new kitchen appliances, fireplace, all perfect. No complaints whatsoever, on the contrary, can't wait to come back! Just a word of advise, this hotel does not have a restaurant nor room service. They do have all other amenities of a regular hotel, including maid/cleaning service. I'm extremely picky when it comes to where I stay and I'm used to 4 or 5 star hotels, this one does not dissapoint!!!!

“Comforts of Home”
The Gant was great. The staff very friendly and the free shuttle to town was awesome. You don't need to rent a car. The City Market allows you to buy all the food you need to stock the kitchen. The Bud-Lite Concert at the base of mountain was fun! Aspen rocks!

Very clean, comfortable and great location in Aspen. My husband and 3 adult children had a wonderful vacation and very much enjoyed staying at The Gant. The concierge staff was very accomodating and helpful with making reservations for activities, spa and dinner. I was very impressed with all of the staff.

The living room and kitchen are fully furnished and we enjoy our stay there. Purchase steak, lobster, rib and ice cream at the city market nearby and make our own perfect dinner.
“Real comfortable and luxurious”
Got a great deal with Expedia for a Deluxe 2BD 2BR at the Gant. The suite was real modern, spacious and comfortable... cool beds, cool plasma TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Great location, free shuttle (don't forget to tip drivers), outdoor hot tubs and excellent service at the lobby. Overall, a great choice.
“Second stay - will return”
Great, young, staff go out of their way to make the stay comfortable and convenient. From airport pick up to restaurant reservations, their attention is top class. Like the accessibility of the gym and the short walk into the town. It's close enough however secluded. Our second stay as we go to Theater Aspen each summer and we will undoubtedly return.
“Good aspen feeling!”
Staying at the Gant was a wonderful experience. the room was great and we were treated like kings by the staff. The shuttles is one of the best parts of it which makes you feel like you almost have your own private schaufer. One thing i realized by the end of our stay , were we had to be moved from our room , was that not all rooms are the same which could be an upside but also a downside of ones experience. The two rooms we saw were very different .one was modern and the other had an "old traditional" taste to it which included an old oven. So my suggestion is to call and ask for a modern room ( as a fellow "reviewer" had suggested in here when i booked) to get a great treat. The price was MORE THAN WORTH IT!!!! Next time in aspen i am going back to them and only them.
