“Good value”
Good: Very modern, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing shower. Nice breakfast selection. Right around the corner from the Archeological Museum. Not so good: Not located in the nicest area of Athens and the nearest metro station seems to be closed long term.
“Probably unbeatable for price; for sure once nearby metro line is reopened”
Great. They even helped negotiate a price with the taxi driver after we had been ripped off previously.
“Small and modern”
Small modern hotel, excellent service, very clean, conveniently located but hard to find. Needs a large name sign in the square.
“Would go back”
A very good hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was quiet and spacious with a large balcony. The breakfast selection was the best we had all holiday. There was also a good selection of places to eat within five minutes walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Excellent value for money”
Fast and pleasant check-in process. Room was ready for early check-in. Renovated hotel was a very pleasant surprise - much better than its three-star rating
“Great Hotel”
Again I have stayed at this Hotel it is the best Hotel of my trip and the 16th on the list some were more expensive so this Hotel is my pick , I loved the bed it was very good. I would recommend it for all of the above as well as proximity to the middle of Athens without being in the middle. I walked to the Flea Market a few times over my 2 stays, there is a cafe and the staff are great. You will not be disappointment with this choice
“We loved Aeros Hotel”
I picked Aeros from Expedia based on reviews and cost and was very happy on the quality of the hotel. The staff was extremely gracious, the free breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were modern and clean. Here's the best part. We were leaving for the airport to head back to the US and the transit system decided to schedule a protest/strike/riot. Fearing that we'd never get to the airport, the front desk person ran outside and spend half an hour trying to double us up in one of the packed cabs. He succeeded and we made it to the airport with minutes to spare. The only slight problem with the hotel is that it's located in what some might call an unsavory (I say gentrified) area of Athens. Walk the wrong way and you might be in trouble. Also, the hotel is so new that most cab drivers had no idea where it was leading to some larger cab fees. All in all, great experience and I can't wait to go back.
“Friendly, helpful staff”
I spent three nights at this hotel and really enjoyed my stay. Parts of the surrounding neighbourhood were pretty rough, but that's no reflection on the hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our room was great - very spacious with a large balcony. Other positives were free wi-fi and and the breakfast, which was really good. The only negative from my point of view was the shower - there was no rail for the hand shower and no shower screen or curtain so water can end up all over the bathroom floor if your not careful!
“Friendly folks”
When I checked in the first day, there was an issue with the plumbing on one floor and the folks were quite helpful and arranged for a stay at the nearby Best Western. Stayed with them for a few more nights and the folks at the reception were quite helpful. Would definitely recommend to other folks.
“The hotel itself was great with a few issues...”
The hotel itself was great; clean, modern, and fairly new. The inclusive breakfast was good. The downside is that it's a bit far from the train station and the sites. I did ask for a wake up call in the morning, as there were no clocks in the room, and never received one. Luckily for my iPhone, I did not miss my flight. Also, one of the doors in the shower was missing so there was always water spraying out. The showerhead was also broken so only the handheld worked. Despite these issues, I would go back given the value.
