Me and my son spent the night because he had a piano audition at the school of music the next day and did not want to be late and still get plenty of rest.

If you are looking for a "spa-type experience" this is not the place for you... but if you are looking for a reasonably-priced clean, safe place to stay- give the Athens Days Inn a try.

I was going to Athens, GA as I had a scheduled date here on my bands tour. Compared to a variety of other hotels on the eastern side of U.S. I must say that I was very impressed with the price and quality. The pool was well-kept and the continental breakfast was nothing short of astounding! I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. Location was great as well.

“Economcial, Convenient, Hospitable, No Frills”

For an economical and convenient place to stay in Athens, clean, polite staff, this is a great place. No frills, but in walking distance to downtown and a block away from a great cafe--the Big City Bread Company.

One of the bets hotels I've ever stayed in. I couldn't believe it was only 2-stars. It was above and beyond my expectations for the price we paid. Also, we got discounted through expedia. The walk was not too far fromt he Georgia Theatre. I plan to stay at this hotel everytime I return to Athens.

Very decent experience, and despite the fully booked hotel (as well as the others in Athens) for a conference in Athens, we weren't bothered by noise or crowds, regardless of the fact that it was just outside the room.
