“Best Place to Stay”
This hotel is the best place to stay in the Plaka. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are wonderfully appointed and comfortable. The hotel staff is very helpful with advice on what to do and where to go. They suggested 2 restaurants within walking distance that were wonderful: the Psara's and Valokerinos. The Psara's had great food and fantastic view of the Acropolis and Valokerinos had good food and an entertaining Greek floor show. The staff also suggested the Chat Tours. We really enjoyed our tour of Corinth. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning at the hotel, which was fantastic: The food was fabulous and the setting was simply lovely. A great way to begin the day. The pool on the 4th floor featured a fabulous view of the Acropolis and was a great way to cool off after a hot day of touring Athens. The stay at this hotel helped to make our stay in Athens memorable.
“Recommended!”
Clean, good location, nice view of the Acropolis.
“Excellent Stay”
The Hotel was excellent and well worth the price. The location was excellent and the staff was courteous and helpful. The condition of the hotel is very good.
“Excellent location”
Very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. Would recommend the new restaurant with views of the Acropolis. particularly liked the convenient location in the Plaka district.
“Great Place to Stay”
The staff was very friendly. All spoke English. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of everything. The shoping, the Metro, and the bus. The breakfast that is included covers fruit, eggs, meat, and everthing. I enjoyed my stay there.
“Lovely hotel”
This was a very lovely hotel and in a very central location. We walked everywhere in Athens and did not need public transport staying in this location. The hotel was very nice to come back to after a long day and the pool downstairs was very relaxing.
“Great Location”
The hotel was very nice. Great location. Walking distance to MANY attractions. Went on city tours and the companies pick you up a few blocks away.
“Elegant hotel in the heart of Athens”
The Electra Palace is situated in a safe, friendly neighborhood with prime location. Ruins, restaurants, shopping and local culture are all within a 5-minute walk. The hotel has a spectacular view of the Acropolis. Don't miss the rooftop patio view by night! The breakfast was tiptop every morning over a 5-day stay. In contrast to other reviews we found, the senior concierge (bald guy), though stern in countenance, was an indispensable resource for travelers. In conclusion this is the only hotel I would book for my family.
“FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY”
The hotel is situated right in the centre of Athens within easy walking distance of all major attrations. The view from the rooftop terrase and pool across to the Akropolis is truly breathtaking. You must try the rooftop restaurant for that special meal. Only disapointment was the indoor pool and leisure area, to small unmanned and not in particullary good condition.
“wonderful”
We loved this hotel...would definitely stay there again!! we could walk everywhere!
