“Great Room!”
Attached parking garage costs $22/night if you park your own car. Room was very spacious and clean, with a pretty good view. Very nice bed. It would have been nice if it had had a microwave or fridge, which I suppose I could have gotten if I paid more. My biggest complaint was with the tv system/channels. While I didn't expect lots of premium channels, I was hoping to at least find all the channels offered by basic cable, such as the SciFi Network, History, Discovery etc. This isn't a huge concern but if I was going to only offer around 20 channels, I would have a dvd player provided or something. I'm assuming the lack of selection is to try and force you to pay for one of the $18 Lodgenet pay-per-view movies.
“"Thanksgiving get-a-way"”
My husband and I went to Atlanta for a "Thanksgiving Get-a-way." We had a great time. The hotel was wonderful & service top notch. The location to everything was absolutely fabulous. Everything was in walking distance pretty much. Great time. We would stay at this hotel again!
“Short but a great stay”
I got such a last minute deal on this hotel. They discounted the price and then threw in internet, parking and breakfast. Every single staff, and I mean every staff, stopped to say hello, can I be of service, enjoy your stay in Atlanta. They were amazing, genuinely gracious. Our room was a typical downtown hotel room. it was clean and well appointed. They have a sliding door for the bathroom which didn't quite fully close but there was a note posted that they were aware and had workers coming around to fix them. The area is a short walk to lots of restaurants for dinner. Some homeless in the area but there was also a police presence. The homeless guys were friendly and left you alone if you asked (not like San Fran). We had a great day at the aquarium which was the reason for our trip and a must see if you visit Atlanta. It is the biggest aquarium in the world and the only one in the world with whale sharks. The people of Atlanta, staff at the aquarium, residents, and the staff at the restaurants were also helpful and friendly. It was a great visit.
“A Very Comfortable Weekend Stay”
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sheraton Downtown Atlanta while attending the SEC Championship football game. We stayed three nights. The check-in process went very smoothly. I used their valet parking since my leg was in a cast rather than having to crutch back and forth to and from the parking garage. They valet staff were very friendly, courteous, and prompt. We also ordered room service on one of our three nights there and the food was very, very good (I had the shrimp and grits). The location was very near everywhere we wanted to be. Nothing seemed to be more than 10 minutes away (of course we got lost several times and a drive that would normally take 10 minutes took more like 30, but that's not the hotel's fault). I also had a package delivered to the hotel and that was taken care of with no problem as well. Our stay was very comfortable and convenient and I would stay there again and recommend others to stay there as well.
“Comfort, Cleanliness and Convenience.........”
My first time staying at the Sheraton Atlanta Downtown and will return here as long as my company sends me on business again. It was convenient to the AmericasMart, which was at the top of the priority list for me. I was able to walk to and from the Mart each day, allowing me to enjoy outdoor exercise to begin my day. The staff was very friendly. I ate in Fandangles two nights. The wait staff was professional and courteous at all times and the food was outstanding! Two thumbs up! My room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Atlanta area.

“Sheraton Atlanta Downtown - October 7th 2007”
First class reception, helpfull personnel and management presence. Although the rooms are old, they are super clean, well furnished and confortable.Food (I had breakfast there ounce)was great.
“Good choice for downtown Atlanta”
The room was a little small, but the King-size bed was very comfortable. Hotel was very convenient - we walked to church, Georgia Aquarium, Centenial Olympic Park, etc. Didn't use our car until we were ready to check out! Staff VERY helpful with maps/directions.
