“Six Flags hotel 8”
The only euww! was the bath tub.. had stains.. and room needed to be aired out smelled musty. Overall the price, location, customer service, etc was great!
“i love georgia !!!!!!!!”
love it and the maids was really great and nce
“Nice Stay”
I picked this motel for the location since we were going to Six Flags. It was a longer walk than I expected but it is do-able. We had to cross a couple busy intersections but it saved us $15 to park. Staff was very nice and helpful. The free continental breakfast was a plus and great as well. Room was nice and clean. Only problem was the mini fridge didn't work. But overall it was an excellent stay for the price. We will be staying there in the future for our Six Flags trips.
“You get what you pay for.”
The main reason I stayed at the Super 8 was the price. I needed a very affordable room on this trip. The price was great. While I'd much rather stay somewhere nicer, this hotel was fine for the price. Good points: Great staff, right off the highway, decently safe area, good water pressure & hot water. Neutral points: Bed & bedding weren't nice but decent enough to sleep ok. Bad points: Dingy towels (I couldn't tell if they were fresh so the hotel sent a new set to the room), musty smell at first (running the AC on high for a while cleared it out), no wireless internet. We didn't check out the pool or the breakfast so I can't comment on either of those. A lot of hotels at this price point had many bad reviews or were in questionable areas of town. This Super 8 is a good option if you're on a budget and still want a good experience and want to feel safe. I'd stay there again.
“Bathrooms”
housekeeping cleaniness was ok on our next days , just the first day could have cleaned the bathrooms better
“Hotel stay”
It was ok at first but my room wasn't cleaned and I couldn't get fresh towels.
“So Not Impressed”
We took Showers and the water kept turning from hot to cold and cold to hot. There were people yelling all night keeping my son away til 2 am. very noisy overall. We booked it cause it said it was close to Six Flags and was on Six Flags Rd. so assumed it was within walking distance but it was .4 miles and across the highway so we still had to drive and pay $15 for parking at Six Flags. We had friends stay at the hotel too and they had a very horrible experience. They had cochroaches in their room, dirt and dead bugs in their bed, and when they woke up there were red ants climbing on the table. Then at 2am someone was pounding on their door which woke them and their 3 boys up. The staff was very rude to us and them when approached about everything. The "SuperStar Breakfast" was no Superstar about it. It consisted of little muffins, bagels, and 2 kids of cereal. the bagels were hard. apple juice, orange, juice, and only decaf coffee. the cereal was nothing a kid would eat. will never stay there again and was not worth the money.
“won't go back”
the location was very convenient to my destination and my trip was very last minute, which is why I chose this particular hotel..and because of the severity of my trip and the fact that it was only for one night..this hotel was perfect, as i needed somewhere cheap and quick...the hotel itself could use a major major, major facelift......I would not stay here again.
“A Whirlwind trip to Georgia”
I was given a room that faced to the west, so the heat, the freeway noise, and the setting sun were problems. There were no windows that could be opened, so sometimes I left the room door open to get ventilation. The room air conditioner spewed out an awful stench (mildew?), so I never got to use it. The furnishings inside were sparse and old, and the bathroom walls needed cleaning. But, all in all, it met my needs as an inexpensive room for a whirlwind trip to Georgia. I slept well and managed my daily ablutions just fine!!
“Simply disgusting!”
Simply disgusting! This hotel should not be on your website. Very dissapointing. I always reserve through Expedia and had never had a bad stay. Hotel stairs are wabbly and just scary. The room was disgusting: bed sheets with stains, dirty bathroom, room door appeared like it had been forced opened at some point, musty smell. Undesirable "element" hanging out in parking lot very late. My friend's room had one window boarded up with plywood because window had been broken. Waitress at a nearby eatery told us to be careful with belongings - she told us that the police was there the previous nignt because a guest's car was broken into and another guest had goods stolen from her room.
