“Pretty clean hotel”

It was my first time to stay at this hotel and it was very cleaned, closed to I-35 and downtown Austin. Restaurants are along the I-35 and pretty good.

“Nice Hotel, Nice Location”

We enjoyed our stay at the Clarion. We found the location to be most attactive for us since it was close to the Interstate and a few minutes away from the Austin Airport. Since we were travelling quite a bit, we found this to be a very convenient feature. The hotel is very nice, they have a complimentary breakfast which was good. There is a pool and work out facility which we did not use and there was plenty parking available. We did have one problem, when we returned to our room late one night, the electrical in our room went out and the night person on duty could not get the problem corrected, so they had us switch rooms for the evening. Otherwise we were happy with this hotel and would stay here again.

“All I needed it to be”

This hotel was very easy to find, right on the freeway with a big sign. I was a little wary when I saw the entrance for my room/hall was not connected to the main lobby, but found that I could enter my room from the middle of the hallway, and that was no problem. The room was clean; so were the towels and sheets. I expected a queen size bed, but got a king! I could lay across it horizontally, and that's how I slept. I could see my car from the window and the parking was free. I also enjoyed the free wi-fi. The breakfast was interesting. They give you a choice of some free items, or you can pay for an entree and get $2 off. I only used this option once, and chose to purchase the breakfast tacos for $3.50. They were filling, but took too long to come to me and weren't the most tasty. Overall, I loved the room and was happy, and I would definitely stay there again.

Older facility but well maintained. B'fast adequate. Online computer in lobby a plus. Quiet facility when we were there.

“All good”

The hotel room was as expected, very nice. I even checked the cleanliness of the sheets with a small black light and they passed! So, it is safe to say you won't find any bed bugs in the hotel.

“Great Austin Hotel”

This hotel was a great find. The location was perfect, as it is central to just about everywhere in Austin. The other great thing was that they offered free Internet service at 10Mbs. As a person that works in the computer industry, I needed access to the Internet so that I can support my clients, even on vacation. Most hotels charge for this service, but her it was free. The one downside, and I find this in almost all hotels is the shower. The shower head was too low, and the controls were not the best. Other than that, I will stay at the Clarion when I travel to Austin.

“Decent hotel”

Just needed a room for one night before heading out to another town. The Clarion was fine. Free high-speed Internet in the room, free continental breakfast (cereal, donuts, juice and coffee). I was even able to get a late check out for ten dollars (2 pm instead of noon). The pool looked nice, but I wasn't there long enough to try it.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Compared to other similarly priced hotels/motels in the Austin, TX area that was close to a convenient location, this hotel was surprisingly offering much more. The hotel was clean, customer oriented, spacious, and comfortable.
