“Iron and shampoo”
I really liked that there was an iron in the room. Not every hotel provides that and I didn't ask beforehand, so I was pleasantly surprised when I was in a pinch and it was there in the room :) The shampoo smelled really good too. I used it all in one shower just because I really liked the smell.
“Perfect location and staff, no problems with room”
This couldn't have been a better hotel for what I needed. I was only there for one night, but it was in the perfect location for a reasonable price. I could easily and safely walk to both S Congress for neat local shops and restaurants and downtown for fun nightlife. But it wasn't in the pricey and loud downtown area. There was also a $1 bus ride to the airport not even 2 minutes walking away. The staff I was in contact with were superb. 10-15minutes after I checked in, the concierge called my room to make sure everything was working and clean. The girl working the front desk the next morning was amazing - she was so friendly and helpful. She kept my bags behind the desk after I checked out and waited for my flight, and I kept changing my mind about things I needed from them. She happily got them with absolutely no signs of any annoyment, even though I'm sure there was some. She was incredibly helpful and knew the area well, and even handled an extremely upset customer from another hotel very professionally. The room was perfectly clean, heater worked very well.
“A good deal”
The hotel is very reasonably priced. There are many things to do within walking distance too.
“Will stay again”
The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and the hotel was clean. We will stay there next Austin trip.
“Great location for people who are active...never had to use car.”
Great location for walking to Town Lake or South Congress. Great places for food and coffee within walking distance. Sandy's burgers, Upper Decks and Joe's Coffee Bar on South Congress. Walk up to 4th-6th St at night and take a cab ride back at night for less than 10$...If your lazy stay on the North side of Congress Bridge and spend an extra $100+
“Good Motel for the money.”
The room itself needs a bit of remodeling, particularly the bathroom, which is in need of ventilation, a new bathtub, and tiling surrounding it, and . otherwise, very acceptable. the hallways were being remodeled or at least work of the ventilation system seems to have been in progress.
“Great staff, great location.”
Very convenient, very helpful and professional staff. Would be top of list to stay in again.
“A Nice Bargain”
This hotel is less expensive than most others within walking distance of the convention center and downtown. If you bring in your own groceries and do your own cooking, you can save even more.
“Totally surprised how nice & quiet the room was.”
For the amount of money we spent on the hotel, we did not think we could get a room that was clean,quiet without doors slamming all night like some 3 star hotels are. When we go back to Austin, we will not have a problem staying there again. It was located near some very nice restaurants near Lamar,Congress that made it convenient . If we had one complaint, could not get the curtains to close all the way.

Good location, not far from 6th street and the many other sites that south Austin has to offer!
