“Fantastic Hotel!”
I was here for the night before my wedding and then with my wife for our wedding night. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was enormous and had every conceivable thing you might need. Room Service food and breakfast were exceptional and the staff could not have made us feel more comfortable and welcome. I was given special treatment in the bar the night before the wedding and on the day, they were able to put together a quick lunch with 5 minutes notice for my father who arrived unexpectedly and hungry! I'd recommend the Pennyhill Park and Spa to anyone!
“Perfect London Retreat”
Not having a car and living I was looking for somewhere within easy reach through public transport from London. I chanced upon Pennyhill Hall Hotel ...and what an absolute Gem!Beautiful hotel, great staff and the spa was amazing. They gave us the nicest of rooms, very spacious and overlooking the terrace (I think as they knew it was our first yr annivesary) which was beautiful and the staff congratulated us on every turn. Wanting something a little less formal for dinner, we chose the brasserie and thought the food was excellent, great wine and really reasonably priced. The only slight negative was the really expensive drinks in the bar... but what do you expect for a 5 star hotel. The whole place really made our annivesary!
“Relaxing stay in a lovely setting”
Lovely hotel, beautiful setting, fabulous pools, plentiful sun loungers, first class breakfast. Ask for cappucino or latte - it's not mentioned on the breakfast menu but staff will make it fresh for you, at no additional charge. Staff very attentive and helpful. We'd definitely go back, it's very upmarket and wonderfully relaxing. Some small niggles, though, for a five star hotel - we had one of the rooms in the original building, with a fantastic view over the golf course, but no reading light on my wife's side of the bed. I tried to move mine to her side, but no power point to connect it to. And when we filled in the "green" card which said we were happy to keep our towels a second day, it also said we wouldn't have our toiletries replenished until they were finished. And they were true to their word - we had a quarter centimetre left in the bottle and they didn't replenish! Which meant we had to ask for more before we could shower. And no little cartons of milk in the room for tea and coffee - the hotel were happy to provide a jug of fresh milk but this meant it sitting out all night getting warm. The principles were all fine, it just didn't work in practice. Beware price of bar drinks - beer and wine ok, but spirits and mixer expensive! "Three days for price of two" deals are good value. Make sure you leave enough time in your schedule to enjoy the spa.
