“Nice hotel in south Kuta”
Nice (new) hotel, about 5 min from the airport (Don't take the taxi from the airport as they will overcharge you by 3x as much, instead call the hotel or reputable taxi such as Blue Bird). This hotel is at the south part of Kuta beach, a popular spot with tourists. The center of Kuta Beach would be about 2-3km walk. Hotel food is decent, but around the corner on Kartika Chandra street, there are plenty of restaurants. Room was not ready when we arrived around 10am, but we got upgraded to the suite which is at the top of the hotel with nice balconies facing the pool. Front desk is not very helpful, they don't have a list of nearby restaurants. The transportation desk provides city tour for a very reasonable price. No free internet in the room but there is a business center on 3rd floor where you can use it for free.
“relaxed oasis”
a nice relaxed hotel, looking in on itself instead of the street gives it a peaceful self contained feel. The staff were extremely helpful and i had no complaints. It is slightly away from the main centre of Kuta which was a pro for me. Still within walking distance of anywhere in kuta and 2 minutes from the beach. well recommended

“Wish I had more time there!”
Better than expected, a real hidden jem. Upgraded to a suite upon check in. Beautiful pool-side room with a lot of space. Great infinity pool with a swim-up bar. Clean, friendly and definitely would stay again! Near the airport and the beach, great location. Far enough away from the tourists that it's not crowded, but an easy transfer to the airpor or fast boat out to Lombok island.
“Loved It!!!”
I absolutely loved this hotel and the staff. The pool is gorgeous, the food was splendid, and there is entertainment every Thursday night with dinner (for an additional charge). The room was so nice! The bed was big and comfy, nice size TV (that went blurry on us and the front desk kindly replaced it in less than 20 min), mini refrigerator/bar in room, nice robes and slippers, etc. I liked the location because it allowed us to walk around and get to know Bali. A few restaurants are within walking vicinity. The beach is near (but not all that great). The staff, I would never forget. They made us feel extremely welcomed and were so great to us. I felt like we were old friends. I wanted to hug everyone before we left. The spa was very interesting and a must!
“The best service ever recieved”
A group of 4 people 21-25 year old West Australians. The Aston Kuta Hotel was amazing in every aspect and exceeded my expectations of even a high class australian hotel. The entire hotel was spotless. The Room was spacious, modern and beautifully furnished. The Pool was refreshing and Tenny the pool side bar tender was a treat. Breakfast was amazing. Huge selection of the finest and freshest food.. The location is a 30 min walk from Kuta Square or 5 min Taxi. And finally the staff were amazing, they were so helpful, caring and considerate and there were plenty of staff to be of assistance. I Wouldnt stay anywhere else in Bali.
“Great Stay”
Aston Kuta Hotel and Residence is a fantastic hotel and I would definately stay there again. My boyfriend and I stayed there for 8 nights in January 2012 and found the hotel to be clean and modern, with a high standard of customer service and genuinely friendly and funny staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like the joy of Bali with being able to escape to your own private getaway. The location is great too - just a short walk into Kuta or 10,000 Rupiah (AU $1) by taxi. However, keep in mind that the beach 500m in front of the hotel is not a swimming beach but is great to watch the sunset from the rooftop bar that Aston has to offer. The photots of the rooms on their website are very true images and depth perception has not been altered. The swimming pool is a great temperature and the swim up bar has some nice cocktails. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been a supplied DVD player in the room though you can hire one for 100,000 Rupiah (AU $10 approx) per 24 hour period. The buffet breakfast should also be mentioned - it was delicious! We both left the hotel with sore jaws from laughing so much with the very entertaining staff, one of the best assets of the hotel! We will definately be back! Thanks Aston :)
“A lovely hotel”
I stayed at the Aston Kuta Hotel for 7 nights, it was a lovely hotel and we had an amazing time! Our room was clean and very modern, the air con was great and the beds were comfortable. We had a great view of the lovely pool from our balcony, the only downside is that the pool is a bit narrow but other than that it is all good. Staff were lovely and accommodating, this hotel was great value for money!
“Nice hotel”
There were a couple of days when we had no hot water. The staff informed us of it and, luckily, it was warm outside so it wasn't too much of a problem. The rooftop restaurant that is highly spoken of in the website was closed for maintenance...I went up there and could see no problem. Possibly they just didn't want to deal with having people up there since the hotel was not filled to capacity. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a relaxing stay.
“aston kuta bali”
Hotel fantastic, ideal location approx 20 minute walk to kuta square. Airconditioning on all the time but still not cool at night. Might need servicing or replacing. Staff were all a delight and most helpful.
