“Beautiful hotel in a great location”

Great hotel, great staff and great service. My first time in Bali and what a good one it was at Bali Sorgawi. The hotel will come and pick you up from the airport free of charge of you contact them directly before you arrive. Hotel is immaculate and facilities are really good. Breakfast is included & adequate, with fried rice, toast, vermicelli, scrambled egg all available and is served from 7.30 - 11am. Really nice clean pool which looks very picturesque at night. Set back just away from the main street so you wont get any traffic noise. Is less than 5 minutes away from convenience stores, bars and restaurants and is a really good choice. I was really happy with this hotel.

“Well placed for shopping”

The hotel is well positioned a short stroll from Jalan Legian, one of the main streets in Kuta, a street that plays host to pretty much every kind of vendor you'd want or need to buy from. There are also plenty of restaurants that cater to all tastes and pockets and offer a wide range of national and international cuisine among them. Note that it's a good 15 minutes walk to get to the beach from the hotel through side streets decked with endless supplies of t-shirts, sunglasses, sarongs and other tat. Bathroom was small and a little tatty but redeemed itself by having a really great shower. Always hot and with plenty of pressure. The internet is a bit of a swizz; you pay in hour blocks, so if you only stay on ten minutes you're charged the full hour. The staff in the restaurant were slow in taking my order and equally slow serving the food. I think I would choose another hotel to stay in next time, not because this one lacked in anything but because it wasn't really that special to want to go back again - there may actually be better hotel out there for the money that I would want to go back to.

“Will go back again”

Location was good. The hotel was walking distance to one of the busy areas for shopping and for nightlife activities in Kuta. About a mile from Kuta Beach. My room had nice cold air conditioning. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful.

“Bali Sorgawi Staff makes you feel at home”

The staff of Bali Sorgawi are so friendly and most accomodating. The surroundings are most attractive. The buildings are a little old and could be maintained and cleaned a little better but all and all because of the fine hospitality, we were able to over look that part. The other big plus is the hotel is within walking distance to the beach as well as many fine restaurants and attractions.

“Nice hotel but staff was not organised”

The hotel was lovely and clean but reception was not very organised. We had booked a suite but they were just going to put us in a normal room. Also, when we were checking out they gave us a bill for the stay even though we had payed it all through yourselves. They sorted the problems out very quick though.

“acceptable for price”

The Hotel was acceptable for the price, The room was clean enough but the aircon remote needed replacing. The beds were worryingly noisy when sharing a room. Service was good although veriety of breakfast offered was limited especially for a person who has limitations such as no wheat. The bedding could be improved. Only one pillow was provided but when another was requested there was no problem.

“cheap accomindation”

This hotel is situated between Legian and Kuta with only a 10min walk to beach and lots of places to eat nearby. We had a standard room which was below average. The springs had gone in the bed so not too comfy and there where dirty/ leaks on the celling but saying that the room was cheap and a good size. Breakfast was included even though it didn’t mention it anywhere but it was a good Balinese breakfast. Also the pool was nice and clean. We did see into other rooms when they were cleaned and the next room up from standard looked nicer.

“Good location and friendly staffs”

The location of this hotel is great, close to the beach and shops along Kuta. The best part of this hotel is they provide free pick up and drop off to/from airport. The room was big and decent, however the setback was, the washroom is a bit stuffy and stink, probably the flooring tiles. During my stay, the hotel was flooded due to the constant rain, but the water level was manageable and didnt get into my room (I was on the ground floor). The breakfast was alright, they provided basic breakfast and choice to select from. Overall, the hotel is not bad and will definately consider again for the price and location.
