“Charming Hotel with Real Bali Feel!!!”
This Hotel was wonderful. My room had a beautiful wood entry into a private front deck with beautiful black rocks around a sitting area. For the price, I was extremely happy. The staff was very sweet and they all knew my name by the second day. This is one of the oldest hotels in Kuta so everyone knows where it is located. I can't wait to go back!
“Had a great time”
After I had booked and before I left for Bali I read a terrible review of the Champlung therefore I was dreading my stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Hotel was not at all like the review had described. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with great storage cupboards & shelves and a safe for valuables. Television is a big screen and there is a mini fridge. Double sliding doors to a good size balcony with comfortable seating. The pool is large and clean but because of construction right next door and the location beneath the rooms it is not very private. Didn't stop anyone enjoying the water though. The location is very near everything you need including a hair salon where I had my hair done each day. Perhaps there are better but for the price I was more than happy. As are all Balinese the staff were happy friendly and helpful. Don't be mean and tip !!
“Pleasant Stay”
Mix up with room but eventually sorted. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Doing renovations which will be a plus. Rooms need a new coat of paint in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet style and very nice and others meal in the restuarant are nice. Had a very pleasant stay at Champlung Mas - would stay here again.
“Will be back next year”
Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions comfortable clean rooms, friendly staff,New resorts being built on both sides of hotel so at times was a little noisey BUT nothing to complain about. Will be staying there next year.Close to beach resturants and nightlife,Well priced for the budget traveler an kid friendly
“Good location”
Good old hotel currently being rennovated that also has a new section. Good value for cheaper rooms in a good location - away from Kuta but within easy walking distance.
“The reasonable alternative”
We were looking for a medium priced hotel near the beach in Legian. We paid USD 130 for 2 nights. When we arrived at the hotel we got a temporary room in which we could stay already, although we arrived far before the check in time. This room bordered on the building site of a new hotel and had a lot of mosquito's, against which we got baygone from the hotel. In the afternoon we shifted to our designated room, which was a little smaller but clean and withous mosquito's. The cottages were located in an spacious garden, the hotel had a nice swimmingpool with bar.
“Clean and Economical”
This hotel is a less expensive hotel, however that is not to say the quality or comfort has been sacrifised. the cheapest rooms are not modern whatsoever, so for the minor price difference in room upgrades I strongly recommend doing so. The hotel doesnt have the extras that some others have, just sleep and eat along with a pool. If your looking to save some money and dont need a huge hotel complex to stay in (ie you actually want to see the city and beaches) this is a good hotel to sleep at. The hotel staff were very accomedating which is always a plus!
“Lovely place”
This is a lovely place to stay, the staff are extremely helpful and very nice, the quality of the room was great but we noticed there was no wi fi in the rooms as the internet had said but all you had to do was step outside the doors and it was available, we also didnt have a hair dryer in our room. There were a few males hanging around the hotel hassling us to go on tours with them but after telling them a few times that they were harassing us they soon left us alone. The hotel is a great place to stay and meet fellow Aussie friends. I had read reviews prior to travelling with quite a few people complaining about noise from near by construction but honestly it was no where near as bad as they all made out to say. Would stay here again for shore!!
“Nice place to stay in Legian”
Good location close to beach, close to shops. Hotel nice atmosphere, Balinese style, beautiful gardens, good swimming pool. Big rooms, good beds. Hotel partly old, toilet flush sometimes kept flushing but staff organized reparation straight away. Great buffet style breakfast. Good value for money
“xmas holiday”
In general a nice motel. Had a laudry issue were they lost a pair of my tights
