“Business trip to Kuta”

Rama Beach Resort is great value for realistic price. Wi Fi excellent for business and skype calls. Food for all meals was a great alternative if you are too tired to explore. Close to surf Kuta Reef etc... Value plus at 4 star hotel.

“We are already planning our next trip there.”

We had a great time at Rama Beach Resort. The staff are awsome, really willing to put themself out for you in anyway they can! Food was good. Quite a large place, yet suprisingly still peaceful and relaxing. Great pool. When we first arrived the air con was not functioning properly, with in 15 minutes of me mentioning the problem at reception, a maintence man was at the door ready to fix it. The only thing we did complain about (just to each other) was how hard the mattress was, if it had been softer eveything would have been perfect.

“Simply Amazing”

To begin, the hotel picked us up at the airport for a smaller fee than any taxis. When we arrived-we received our welcome drinks, warm towels, and had a very smooth check in-from the very beginning the staff were overly friendly. We were shown to our villa-which to our surprise (because it wasn't the peak season) was an upgrade-without even asking for an upgrade. The villa was marvelous! The splash pool was perfect-we used it every day-three or four times a day, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, the staff was overly helpful. My girlfriend and I had the best time ever at this resort. It's approximately 20 minutes from Kuta beach-WALKING which is actually about the same time it would take to fight through traffic-we walked to and from the Kuta business area-and it saved us money and time. Great place to stay-because it's off the beaten path, great staff, super quiet and peaceful.

“Very impressed”

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back through from Thailand. We have been to Bali many times and chose here as a cheap option for the short stay. We were very impressed with our room & the pools etc. They tried to get us to pay extra and upgrade to a garden villa or pool villa but they were not much bigger than the deluxe rooms and you share the small pool with another villa anyway. The bed was massive & they added a baby cot to our room for free - don't usually get much for free in these countries! Location is good only a 2 minute stroll to the beach and a 15 minute stroll to the Discovery shopping mall (if you walk along the beach way). Would recommend this hotel and possibly even consider it for our next stay.

“Superb!!”

The hotel is more in keeping with traditional Balinese style accommodation than many of the multi-storey hotels in Bali. Well situated with central Kuta within walking distance along the beach path. The staff are friendly without ever being intrusive. They met all my needs (sometimes without even being asked). There was no badgering poolside to buy food or drinks. The gardens of the hotel are well maintained and wonderful to look at. This was my twelfth visit to Bali. I have stayed at many types of accommodation but this exceeds all. I would have no hesistation recommending this hotel. It suits families, singles and older couples.

“Value for Money”

It is a fair walk to the beach since the beach they say they are close to disappears during high tide. Kuta beach does not live up to the repuation and is actually quite dirty. It is best to take a taxi to Nusa Dua or one of the other places. While the location is not best, hotel is clean and the pool is better than the pictures suggest. It would be a good place for families or young travelers concerned about cost. The neighborhood is limited in what it has to offer - far from the bars and clubs, beach, etc but there were a couple good restaurants.

“2 nignths at Ramas”

From the very beginning - my room was not available))))) when i've arrived. It was really late night and i just moved to another room with a bunch of coupons for free tea/massage/dinner. Next day i was moved to booked room. So for me it was not a problem. Overall - hotel is nice looking, really good swimming pool area, personnel all very friendly and helpfull; really nice location - 5 minutes to the beach area; ~ 20 min to the Mall. Taxi from airport to Hotel is like 10 minutes. The only thing that makes me fill really strange - ONLY 2 HOURS OF FREE WIFI - and the cheapest hotels in the area have it for free. I would say it's something they have to look on.

“Excellent all round hotel”

Found a high level of standard and service at the Rama Beach Resort. The only downside is that it is not right on the beach being a two minute walk away. But the area is quiet and it is only a 15 minute walk into the heart of Kuta.

“Great Holiday”

Hotel grounds are beautifully looked after. Everyday we saw staff working around the geardens. Deluxe hotel room was nice and large. Next time I would ask for a ground floor room but. The Air conditioner in our room was not cold at all. Asked reception to look at it. They said it was working, but there was no difference. Had it on the coldest setting 24hrs a day and it never got cold. Pool is great, love how it was so deep, 2.4mtrs. Food available around the pool was really nice. Alcoholic drinks in the resort were too expensive. Buffet breakfast was nice, but not too much variety from day to day. Location was good. cheap massage & 7/11 type shop next to hotel very handy. Bit too far to walk to Kuta in the heat. Taxi very cheap. Would prefer to stay in hotel closer to Discovery Mall next time. Overall Rama Beach Resort is a lovely quiet hotel, I would reccommend it and would be happy to stay there again next visit.

“Excellent Service and Fantastic Pool Area”

A very good hotel and can not fault the staff who were friendly and helpful. The hotel pool and gardens were beautifully maintained, very tranquil and an excellent place to relax. My only negative comment about my time spent in Kuta was that the resort itself is not the best in Bali by a long way. A number of good restaurants can be found in Kuta, but there is a lot of construction work taking place and is unclean in places. On the whole I would be happy to recommend this hotel.
