“Great stay at Mount Royal Hotel!!”
We really enjoyed our stay, hotel is very comfortable, central location, staff are friendly and the hotel is very well kept and stocked with everything needed in the room!! We had brunch at Tony Roma's in the hotel very good and very friendly and helpful waiter!!
“Ideal location.”
The room was a good size and very cozy. It has a rustic, kind of 'lodge' feel to it, and was a great way to complement our time in Banff. The location can't be beat - right in the heart of Banff near any of the nightlife that matters, with excellent eateries all around. This is pretty much the perfect place to stay in Banff.
“Beautiful & Convenient”
I can't wait to stay at this hotel again. Beautiful hotel, perfect location, and just an all around great stay!
“location location location”
the room was small for two queen beds and there were odds and ends of maintenance issues but nothing that affected our stay. The beds were the best I have slept on in a hotel in a long time and that is what I wanted the room for, sleeping.
“Great Location, would stay again!”
This hotel is located in the center of downtown Banff. The bus stop to catch tours is located behind the hotel. You are within walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. The room could have used a little updating, but was very clean and quiet. I would definitely stay there again!
“Fantastic Hotel Experience, In a Fantastic location”
This hotel is the only place to stay in Banff. It is Absolutly in the middle of town. There are so many places to stay, but when your walking in the snow and ice, who wants to be even 2 or 3 blocks out. It`s a beautiful old hotel {4 levels} which is quite large and recently renovated. We were so impressed that we came back and stayed again 2 weeks later. You can book here with confidence. The staff were friendly and there is no shortage of Pubs about. The Hotel has a bar called Pub in the Paddock. It was good. And also Wild Bills and another pub which I can`t remember the name of,are on opposite corners. If you book here , you won`t be dissappointed.
“one of banff's best hotels”
Very local to the hot spot which is banff ave
“Great Location !!!!!!!”
We overlooked Banff Ave and the mountains were background. It was Great !!! You could walk anywhere that you need to go in Banff.
“Cosy place in the most convenient location on Banff Ave”
Came here during the early weeks of winter. Mt Royal Hotel was lovely and warm with a helpful guy at the Tours Desk. I would definitely return (but in the summer)
“Perfect location”
Mount Royal is located in downtown Banff. It is right on the main strip and very convenient to walk to stores, including the grocery store, as well as the rental shop. The rooms are small, but it didn't matter to us since we were rarely in our room. We highly recommend it!
