“A night of luxury with great airport access...”

We decided to book a hotel near to the train link to the airport for our last night in Thailand, and as we had stayed in some fairly budget places thought a night in a nicer hotel on the last night would be a treat before going home. This place did not disappoint. After a long trip involving a taxi, a ferry, a coach, a plane, a train and another taxi we arrived hot, dishevelled and exhausted. From the moment we walked through the door the staff looked after us. After enjoying a refreshing dip in the lovely pool we had the best hot powerful shower in 2 weeks and then relaxed in our complimentary robes and slippers before a drink in the roof terrace bar and a great meal in the buffet restaurant. I could have stayed much longer, but unfortunately too early for breakfast the next morning we took a taxi 10 minutes down the road to the new Makkasan terminal to the airport - this hotel is ideal for quick access to the airport. and I would use again in similar circumstances

“Okay value but check location”

The hotel itself is fine although the walls in the room could do with a paint to hide the numerous scuff marks from baggage rubbing against the wall. The hotel is near Makkasan Railway Station NOT Makkasan Airport Link Station. Best option from the Airport is the City Line Service to Ratchapharop City Line Station then a walk of about 500 m along Makkasan Road alongside the surface railway line. The footpath on the side with buildings is suitable for most trolley bags. The Makkasan Airport Link Station is about 1.5 km away. The free shuttle service is only 3 times a day for a maximum of 10 guests. It is also outwards only so you have to find your own way home.
