“Good location - a bit 'tired'”

I stayed at the `Golden Horse' hotel 4 years ago and decided to stay there again because of the good location near to major attractions, Reclining Buddha, Palace etc and it was a nice clean comfortable hotel. It still is these things but I don't think any improvements or maintenance has been done since 4 years ago. The lamp shades were dirty and stained, the furniture jaded and marked and the hallways musty and well worn. Having said this the rooms are comfortable and the cleaners do a good job. breakfast was not worth the effort and we decided to eat elsewhere as there is a good range of food close by. I would stay there again
