“The Grand Hyatt, Bangkok”
This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. The whole experience was most enjoyable. The comfort of the room, the quality of all the staff was superb. I would have no hesitation of recommending this hotel and intend to stay at the Grand Hyatt on my next visit yo Bangkok>
“Always a pleasure”
I have stayed in this hotel 3 or 4 times. it is always a pleasure, I have stayed in other hotels in the area, but now I just book the Hyatt . Easy walk home from the bar and the great bands they always have.
“Extraordinary”
Starting with the location, this hotel is just perfect, near the shopping complexes and with all the services nearby. The staff couldn't be more helpful, they go all the way to make you feel better than at home. The facilities are overwhelming and breath-taking. All their restaurants are top class including the breakfast buffet which is one of the things I enjoyed more in my visit to Thailand. The rooms aren't huge but they have good space. The Spa shouldn't be missed.
“Marvellous Hotel; Great business centre”
Best business centre I have ever used
“Oasis on a 5 week trip”
This is a luxurious oasis in the middle of hot and steamy Bangkok. The Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful old style with a lovely huge atrium lobby. The swimming pool is delightful for an early morning swim. The lobby restaurant staff sadly were not as attentive as everyone else, but the food was good. All in all a great place to spend the one night before the rest of my 5 week trip - loved it.
“Excellent hotel highly recommend”
Wonderful staff, wonderful location, excellent hotel highly recommend
“Excellent location”
Excellent location, good and attentive service.
“5 star”
5 Star service from top to bottom, attention to every detail. We only stayed 2 nights, they saw that it was my birthday and sent an awesome cake and candles to our room.
“good central hotel would go back”
Good service enjoyed the executive lounge and the facilities. Also enjoyed the spa. Found it a trifle expensive though.
“Old rooms, excellent staff.”
I will start with the positive aspects of this hotel. The hotel staff were efficient and warm. They really have an excellent front of house team at this hotel. A very very good first impression. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, and the pool and spa area (recently renovated) were wonderful. The hotel is grand and luxurious when you walk into the lobby (to be expected from a 5* hotel in Bangkok) but this makes it even more disappointing when you get into your room. The rooms are old, upholstered in grey and maroon. The decor is tired, and is such a let down after being in the lobby. It was like a 4 star business hotel inside our room. The bed linen is clean but basic, the bed and pillows uncomfortable and the bathroom amenities below par. We saw several rooms because the first one was so dark and overlooked some noisy ventilation fans on a building below us. After 4 room visits we finally realised they were all fairly similar, and there is a train that runs pretty much attached to the hotel building so its not very quiet at all.
