"Im a little late in getting to this review. This is a nice luxury hotel with a few problems. The rooms are great however they are slightly run down. I noticed scuffs on most of the furniture and over all everything felt just a little worn down. At this price point, given the choices in luxury hotels i had in Bangkok i felt like this was a bit of a letdown. Additionally when i mentioned my Expedia platinum status i was not given a room upgrade, this too was a letdown. I will be back to Bangkok but i'm not sure id give the Shangri-la another chance."
