“Would stay again and great location for transportation means”
Le Meridian was centrally located between the Sky Train and Subway. It was across the street from PatPong Night Market which was fun and also near the red light district which was interesting but not in a hassle you every minute way. Good restaurants and street vendors nearby. The hotel was superbly furnished, the room handsomely and creatively appointed. (There was a wonderful Thai poem printed in Thai on a screen in our room.) My favorites are: the sliding door between bedroom and bath area, the soaker tub, the closet space with hidden tea kettle and coffee press, and the long flat surfaces for more than two pieces of luggage! Great for long distance and long term travellers!
“My best hotel experience in Bangkok”
As a well experienced travel, the Le Meredien Bangkok was far above my high expectations. I stay on a frequent base at 5* hotels for both leisure and business and the Le Meredien Bangkok is outstanding considered its reasonable price. The breakfast is outstanding and so is the staff.
“be meridien cool”
le meridien provided services i didn't even know i would like. when you ask a question, they answer but then think through all the additional assistance you need to accomplish your aim. the level of service and the quality of service blew me away. the breakfast buffet is hugs and well worth the high price. the hotel design coordinates every aspect of the experience - from lobby design to the room's pencil cup. its a sophisticated, cosmopolitan look with little bangkok simulacra. the fourth floor pool area is a relaxing place to hang; not a place to swim laps. nice service and special drinks at the bar, which is not a crowded scene. the location near main roads and the elevated train makes it convenient to the more popular neighborhoods, but not to the palace tourist area. great hotel, highly recommend.
“Excellent hotel in Bangkok; maybe one of the best!”
Excellent location, very friendly staff, very confortable room. The only place I stay when I'm in Bangkok
“Would definately return!”
Great new hotel that satisfies all you needs. I was there on business for a few days but did manage to get a day off whilst I was there. The gym / fitness room was more than adequate (and no one in there) and the pool and sun terrace on the 6th floor was extremely nice for a relaxing day in the sun. The rooms are very nice and stylish in a modern sense (very nice rain shower in the bathroom)If I had to be extremely harsh the only disappointment was that there was no windows to open or balcony to step out on but this wouldn't stop me from returning. I normally stay at the Lebua and although the rooms there are beautiful, there's no sun on the pool area after 12.30pm. I will now be booking Le Meridian from now on.
“The BEST hotel in my trip to Asia”
I spent a few weeks traveling throughout Asia and Le Meridien was by far my favorite hotel (stayed in some nice business class hotels in Vietnam and Hong Kong too, but this one trumped them all). The rooms and decor are impeccable (bedside buttons for every light and your window shades, plush beds, modern decor), the food is great (albeit a little pricey at the hotel) and the concerciege service is AMAZING for travelers like myself. It's also fairly centrally located, so there are lots to see walking around outside the hotel or just a quick cab ride away. Really made my trip to Bangkok.
“Perfect weekend”
I had a great time on a 3 day weekend at the Meridien. The hotel is really stunning - very modern and cool, the room was beautiful, the bed was insanely comfortable (I really could not bring myself to get out of it some days). Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, gracious, and helpful. The breakfast buffet was probably one of the best I've had in many years of 5 star travel, and the lobby coffee shop was a great pick-me-up on hot afternoons. I also loved sitting on the smokers porch out front of the hotel and watching the world go by. The pool and gym were both small but new, clean, and functional. The gym has very little in terms of weights, but a few new cardio machines. Some may be concerned about the hotel's proximity to Patpong -- for me, that is what made it great, I love exploring that seedy side of BKK, since it's part of what makes Thailand so interesting. But I would NOT recommend it for families with young children, or very conservative travelers. Also in terms of location, the subway stop was very close, and cabs were plentiful and cheap.
“Patpong 5 stars”
Lovely hotel in very busy surroundings at night. If you are prepared for the hustle and bustle, this is the right place for you. Good breakfast, great rooms, convenient location. We had a great stay there and recommend 100%.
“Fantastic”
Superb hotel with polite and friendly staff, immaculate common areas and facilities. The room was pristine and tastefully decorated - no resemblance to traditional Thai decor but it depends what you are looking for in a central city hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone
“Very impressed!!! Highly recommended.”
Very convenient location, hotel is very clean and high class service. definitely gonna go back :))))
