“Can't wait to go back”
Really good hotel for the price, with (mostly) very friendly staff. One or two of the male staff had "jobsworth" tendencies. Maybe a few more women should be promoted, especially the very efficient, helpful and always immaculately dressed Sophia.
“Great service!”
Without a doubt the best service I have ever received. The food was fantastic and the beach was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this to anyone without children as they are not permitted at this resort (which made it even more relaxing). Two thumbs up!
“Pride of Barbados”
My wife and I simply loved everything about Almond Beach Club especially the staff. Welcoming, attentive, polite, helpful extremely friendly. We cannot fault the place apart from just two minor exceptions. Firstly the waiting area in the front lobby needs better ventilation, the ceiling fans were of no benefit. Secondly the local traders on the beach were irritating and in some cases intimidating. Constantly plying their wares and expensive jetski rides all day long!
“My First Trip to Barbados”
What a beautiful island. The resort is very nice, with roomy comfortable suites. The staff was very nice and attentive. I especially liked one of the security men (who will remain nameless.)The spa was one of the best I have been to. The 2.5 hour special package was awesome. The food at Sunset, Enids and La Sammarta was great. Extra seasoning was never needed. Also I enjoyed the Afternoon Tea. I did some shopping across from the resort, as well as in town. Went to the Mount Gay Rum Factory tour, and saw a concert at the stadium with Coco T, Baby Sham and Damien "Jr. Gong" Marley. It was great. I loved the adult-only atmosphere. I'm going back...
“Lissa”
My husband and me had and amazing time... this is a great hotel with lovely people... an unique all inclusive!! I went to so many hotels in different countries with all inclusive and I always finish paying too much in my vacation... this is a REAL all inclusive, (including water activities) and more... Love the facility of transportation from hotel to hotel, It was great that we could go to the other hotel and enjoy also there... The tour 100% Bajan is the best one I ever had!! We had so much fun that I can't wait to go back to this BEAUTIFUL island and definitely will go back to the Almonds hotels.
“Best place for couples! Very relaxing.”
Nice Landscape and pools. Close to a calm beach. Drinks come non-stop -a bit watered down but let them know and they'll stop. Great food in Enid's Restaurant.
“Marvellous”
We stayed over the Christmas period. We were a bit worried we might miss the traditional feel of Christmas at home but couldn't have been more wrong as the Barbadians are even more traditional about it than the British. There was plenty of lunchtime and evening entertainment but no loud noise after 11 pm. The only thing that spoiled the atmosphere was the presence of a small group of coarse and noisy Brit alcoholics who had clearly chosen the ABC just to tank up on the free drinks so it was perhaps not quite as exclusive a getaway as we had hoped. Restaurant staff were fun and friendly in their own way but things happened quite slowly sometimes so it's unlikely your customer service expectations will be exceeded. It was the same in the local shops; it's just the way things are in Barbados. Go there on their terms, not yours, and enjoy the unhurried pace of life. We certainly felt the stress draining away from us. Our top floor room was cool and comfortable, if basic and a little worn around the edges; not a problem as we spent most of each day in the gorgeous pool/garden area. The beach was small but another well known and beautiful public beach is only 5 mins stroll south. Food was excellent and plentiful and we greatly enjoyed swimming with turtles and the free water sports. Overall, a truly wonderful holiday for us and our aged '20 something' children. Airport taxi costs $70 (Barbadian). To our surprise we didn't have to pay any airport departure tax.
“very relaxing 5 days”
visiting Barbados was great. Almond Beach Club was great. relaxing by the pools and drinking mojitos was just what we needed. Went to other Almond Beach location for dinner. That was a bonus. Staff all friendly and service were good. Always willing to accommodate.
“Good Relaxing Holiday”
The Almond Beach Club is a well run hotel with friendly helpful staff, its idyllic location and good food result in an excellent relaxing holiday.
“A beautiful hotel”
The food was good and it had a very relaxed atmosphere
