“Will be going back next year again!!!!!”
All around great place to stay.
“Can't wait to return to the Amaryllis Beach Resort”
Upon arrival to the hotel, the staff was courteous and quite helpful and this fact remained the same throughout my entire stay. The hotel property, beach and surrounding area was clean. The hotel was conveniently located and access to public transportation was readily available.
“Didn't want to leave”
Had a wonderful time The people were all so friendly The hotel was really great & the water was just the right temp
“An enjoyable experience”
Just returned back yest.,. 1st time spent at this hotel. Self catering, Deluxe studio sea view front. The staff were all very friendly from, reception, housekeeping, restaurant and ground staff. I stayed with my husband and 2yr old for 2 weeks. Loved it. Taxi's on site with hotel security. Bus stop just outside the hotel complex should you wish to travel into town or elsewhere. Racecourse 5 mins walk a way, convenience store and pharmacist. Supermarket approx a 10min drive away. I definitely plan to return. Apparently, All Inclusive is available at this hotel which i did not look into whilst i was there. We only had breakfast on x2 occasions...which was fine. Like most things....your opinions will be down to your own personal expectations. The room was clean with daily linen and towel changes. The only thing about the self catering...was that there was no oven in the kitchen area, but there was a microwave, fridge, cooker, cupboards etc. So we couldnt do say....roast chicken.
“Perfect Location, better than other hotels in Barbados I've stayed in!”
I recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The reception was great and very accommodating. The ambiance was better than other hotels in Hastings I've stayed in and very warm. The greenery around the grounds afforded privacy and set the tropical background. Upon arrival I was given an upgrade to a larger room (superior beachfront suite). The room was very large with a full kitchen, living room and dining room, two large bedrooms. The furniture was wicker and very comfortable. The room opened straight out to the beach of white sands and clear blue waters. the pool was larger, clean and very warm. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Dinner at the Turtle Restaurant was good but the live entertainment was even better. Overall I was very impressed with the hotel, service and overall experience; especially having read the other reviews of this hotel before booking. I will definitely stay here again and I am also telling everyone I know about this hotel. Can't wait to book my next stay....
“Will keep going back”
This is my 2nd trip back to the Amaryllis. We had to wait a while for our room but then we were upgraded to an ocean front room. I was travelling with my teenage daughter and visitn my father so the hotel serves as a great base for getting out and about. The beach was wonderful and the hotel staff are really helpful. The hotel is kept very clean and tidy.
“Great Experience!”
We had a great experience. The beach that the resort is located on is beautiful. In addition the staff were friendly and helpful.
“Can't wait to go back.”
I loved this hotel and the island. This is the kind of place to go if you want to enjoy a relaxing environment where the people are friendly and the place has character. Not the kind of place to go if you want something like Cancun where it is overdeveloped with huge shopping malls and high rise hotels. This hotel and the island in general is more low key. The tropical foliage was beautiful at the hotel which is directly on the beach. The hotel is set back from a main road where it is easy to get taxis or the bus. However, I would recommend to bring "beach/surf shoes" to go in the ocean to protect your feet.
“I Love Barbados!”
This was my second time to the island. I came for Crop-Over before and this time I came with my husband. We loved the hotel and the service was the best. They had around the clock receptions to help with anything from change to taxi rides. The pool tables and chess game was unbelievable. All in all we will be recommending it to everyone in ear shot of our voices. I loved this hotel and give it 2 thumbs up!
“A beautiful place”
The Amaryllis Beach Hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the view is indescribable. I highly recommend this hotel.
