“Nice hotel”
Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room and good facilities. Plus right by a metro station down the road so very quick to city centre but not noisy. Would go back again.
“Very nice hotel”
I was very pleased with this hotel. It is located about 2 miles North of the square with easy access to public transportation. The room is large with comfortable furnishings. The bathroom could use more light to makeup on with but other than that it was large, clean and modern. It had a bidet. The staff was extremely helpful. I didn't realize that there would be a stove and a small refrigerator also with some minimal cooking equipment. If you are staying more than a couple days in Barcelona, that would really help. The sleeping quarters were in a seperate room with a third bed in the kitchen/living area. There was even a small balcony. For the cost, GREAT accomodations.
“Barcelona's Secret Gem”
This is a perfect hotel for those who like to cook their own meals. The rooms come with a small kitchenette and the grocery stores and bakery are within a 1/2 block walk. There are a few windows that could be opened to enjoy the fresh air. Another plus to this hotel is its convenient location that is away from the hustle and bustle of the center city.

“Barcelona June 2010”
Very nice hotel in a great location. Metro was a few blocks away & convenient. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Free internet use in lobby. There is a grocery store about 1/2 block away that has reasonably priced foods, wine and beer. The fresh bread there is delicious and quite a bargain. The nearby Ke Bokata Cafe has wonderful cafe con leche and croissants. Also the Budy Cafe is a wonderful dinner spot with great food and friendly service.

Good aparthotel (more hotel than apartment). Kitchen is partial. Free business corner (2 PCs with internet). Service friendly.

a very pleasant hotel, modern and clean with kitchen facilities, in a good part of town near nice shops & trendy restaurants - the glass of cava they offer at reception is a nice touch of class as well.

The desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The lobby was spotless but our guest room cleaning could have used a bit more attention. There was obviously a different peron on duty for cleaning in the early part of our stay (iffy cleaning, sticky and spotty dishes in the mini-kitchen, residual smoke smell from previous guests) and later in the stay (fresh smelling, linens aired, etc.). I strongly encourage requesting a no-smoking room if smoke bothers you. Even after our room aired out, our next door neighbor's smoke wafted in from the balcony. The location did require a lot of walking or public transportation to get to the main tourist sites, but the neighborhood is unexpectedly filled with lots of little shops and places to grab a bite nearby. A final comment/find-there is an absolutely great little restaurant across the street called Antigua. We had sea bass and croaker and it was fabulous. It was a little pricey but the best meal we had in Barcelona, and all of the food we had on the trip was fantastic.

We were led to believe that we were getting a room with a kitchenette, hence "aparthotel". We had zero kitchen items. We did not ask to be changed because our friends had kitchen items (stove/sink/dishes/etc) in their room so we used theirs instead of having to change rooms. The rooms were otherwise modern and clean. The beds were comfortable, but of course it is Europe so they shove two twin beds together to make a queen sized. The bathroom was nice, but the shower leaked on the floor if you didn't aim it right because Europe doesnt believe in shower curtains either.....but not a big deal. There was a great cafe nearby where we had croissants & cafe con leche every morning. It is 2 blocks from a metro stop. We took a 30 minute stroll to Park Guell. The ramblas were about a 20 minute walk too, but we used the metro to get there. You can get a 10 trip metro card for about 8.50 Euros (2011) which is a good discount and you can use it for multiple people, so that saved us some money in cabs.
