“Nice hotel; good price”
Great location. Very nice hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

“great hotel”
only one downside, it is a little away from the main trail. it was good value, but the evenings were a little dull. the local restaurants were mostly closed, the open ones only did tapas, which is great but not all the time. the hotel restaurant was empty all night but overall great place to lay your head.
“Good location and value”
This was a good hotel for my purpose, which was to check out the Barcelona area for a Drifter Sister Catch the Wind tour I will be offering in 2011. Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was reasonably priced, modern, and clean. Reasonable location, with public transportation stops within 10-minute walk, plus large shopping center. We are two ladies traveling together, and we felt safe here. Grocery store right across the street. Would stay here again and recommend it to other independent travelers who don't feel the need to be right in the middle of the tourist area of Barcelona, and are willing to take public transport into town.
“A new modern Hotel”
The room size is normal but the bathroom is very good designed. Location is good, but you will find a bit far from metro station if you walk. According to the price, I defineity recommend the hotel!
“Wonderful Stay”
Enjoyed our stay at the Amrey Diagonal in March 2009. Hotel is very clean, comfortable and although it's not in the center of the city, it's in a fantastic neighborhood location. Very easy to get to the main sights from this hotel.
“Clean modern hotel”
This is a very nice modern hotel. Rooms are very clean and pleasing. Get a top floor and see the entire city from your window. From the hotel you can take the metro (10 min walk) or a tram (5min walk). On the way back at night a cab from nearby downtown is $6-10.
“Great value for money”
We were really impressed with this hotel. The concierge was very helpful and gave us excellent advice during our stay. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Although out of the City centre the metro station was only 10 minutes walk and the tram to the beach stopped outside. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona who doesn't mind staying out of the centre, we did not find this any problem and greatly enjoyed our stay.
“Stay here! It's great value for little money”
I didn't pay very much for my 3 night stay at Amrey Diagonal and it completely exceeded my expectations. This hotel was great! Great concierges(very helpful, as well as nice). It's roughly a 20 euro cab ride from the airport, so figure out the train/metro network and it's a lot cheaper to get too and from the airport as well as aroudn the city. Close to the beach, shopping, and eating(all 5 mins walking distance). Room was very tidy, clean and comfortable. All around great.
“Rainy Barcelona”
Even though the weather was crap the weekend we were there we had a nice stay in Barcelona because of this hotel.
