“Helpful Reception Staff”
Good location right next to Diaganol metro station. Nice coffee shop directly opposite... road works as bit of a nuisance. Would highly recommend

“Excellent hotel!”
I went to the Gallery Hotel for a 3-day break with my boyfriend, and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The rooms are great and the bathrooms are really nice, they come with everything you could need. The staff are very helpful and reception staff speak English very well. They're more than happy to give you some local knowledge! Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food. The only thing that would have made it nicer was a swimming pool, but there's the sea instead!
“Top of La Rambla”
This hotel is ideally situated at the top of La Rambla and Avenue Diagonal with plenty of shops, restaurants and sights nearby. The front street was closed to vehicle traffic due to ongoing construction, but this did not diminish the quality of the accommodation nor the service. The quantity and selection in the breakfast buffet was adequate by American standards and the food was very good. The public areas and the rooms were well appointed. Staff was knowledgeable, quick and efficient. Our check-in and out were rapid and most courteous with value rates. This two night visit concluded five weeks of European travel so we are critical and experienced with local hospitality standards. We highly recommend the Gallery Hotel and plan to stay again.
“good hotel and location”
A clean, pleasant and comfortable hotel conveniently situated near to a metro station although we walked from hotel to most locations including the port. located just off Passej de Gracia so very close to lots of upmarket shopping. Staff pleasant and helpful.
“Great Hotel, Great Location”
Overall very good 4 stars hotel. Big room, large bathroom. Despite the busy street in front of the hotel you will not hear a sound because of the two double paned windows. Wi-Fi is perfectly working in the room. Excellent location. 3 min walk to Gaudi La Pedrera and the nearest stop of Hop-On Hop-Off bus which is a must in Barcelona. 7 min to Casa Batllo. Lots of restaurants around. Great bakery just across the street to have a nice non expensive breakfast. The prestigious Passeig de Gràcia which is the major avenue with the most important shopping and business areas in Barcelona is literally around the corner. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to live in unreasonably expensive, crowded and pretty seedy La Rambla area but want to be strategically located to all city attractions. The only minor inconvenience is a heavy metal key to your room that you need to leave at reception before you are going out. These days the majority hotels around the world have a convenient plastic card key. But again, it's not a big deal.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel was located in a great area and despite some construction, I heard nothing in the room which faced the street. The staff was curteous, professional and proficient in English. The room was clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Very nice hotel in a good location”
This hotel is very nice. The staff is really helpful and always willing to help. The hotel is within walking distance of "La Pedrera", one of the buildings done by Gaudi. There is some construction going on in front of the hotel for an underground train, so the entrance is blocked off for the construction (June 2009). However, taxis are allowed to go in to pick up and drop off guests. I would stay in this hotel if I went back to Barcelona.
