“Amazing Location”
This hotel is right across the street from the beach. Although it costs about 50Euro to take a taxi from Downtown Barcelona to this area called "Castelldefels," the area is so lovely that it's well worth staying outside of the city. I took issue with their strong water pressure (it would blow water everywhere, so there always seemed to be a puddle in our room), but other than that, the hotel was excellent. The pool is small, but people rarely use it, there's a computer that you can use for a price that is comparable to most internet cafe's, and we were able to print things out for free. The staff is also remarkably accommodating and helpful.
“Can't wait to go again!”
This hotel is minutes from the beach and into centre of Castelldefels so it was ideal for what we were looking for. It is excellent for children and the restaurant and food was of a high standard. You do hear the planes going over as it is so near to the airport(15 mins) but it didn't bother us one bit.
“Cute beach town within 30 minutes of Barcelona”
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room and hotel was very clean and modern. The room was extremely small, but we spent little time there anyway. The walk to the train is half an hour and the train takes half an hour or less to Barcelona. The walk is through a pretty neighborhood. At night there are several restaurants and bars to choose from. There is even an open air game room with air hockey and foozball. This seems to be a place the Spanish take their summer vacation.
“Nice place with nothing to complain about”
Rooms were a decent size and clean, and the shower had great water pressure. Hotel was across the street from the beach, but unfortunatly, the only view from our balcony was of another building. A plesant experinece, with no bells and whistles, but certainly no complaints.
“Did the job for us.”
Hotel worked for what we needed. Staff helped out when they could. We did have an issue with not having hot water one day, but it was resolved the following day. Lots of mold in the shower. The rest of the room was fine. It was small, but hey, you aren't there to hang out in your room! We were right by the beach and that was great. You are outside of Barcelona, so we took the Metro in. It's a bit of a walk to get there, so I would recommend asking the hotel to get you a taxi to get to the Metro. It would also be much easier to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. We went out to eat near the hotel and found that there were many who did not speak English. So be prepared. Inside Barcelona, we had no issues with that.
“great beach location”
We only stayed one nite as we were heading out of Barcelona the next day. It's minutes from the airport and there are a lot of planes coming in for a landing overhead. But it's right on the beach and very clean with a great restaurant. The rooms are nice sized but we couldn't figure out how to run the AC so we left the windows open.
“Near The Beach”
The only thing good I can say about this hotel is that it is right across the street from the beach.....bathroom was nasty and small....room was god enough to sleep in.
