“Good Hotel...”

I came here a few weeks ago with five other friends for 4 nights (two triple rooms). The hotel is very good for its kind. It has been given one star but it ought to be two. The room was very clean and looked after every day. It had satellite tv, a cupboard, a safety deposit box, excellent wi-fi access and was not too cramped despite having 3 beds. The bathroom was clean with a shower/tub combo and toiletries as well as an abundance of towels. The staff were friendly, spoke English well and were always on hand to help. Plus there was the bonus of the vending machines dispensing beer! The only issue for me was the thin walls, bit that was not too much of a problem. The best part is the location. Situated opposite the beautiful Hospital Sant Pau, the hotel is right near the wonderful Avinguda de Gaudi, awash with souvenir shops and more importantly, fanstastic restaurants and cafes. There is even a KFC for the homesick Brit or American! Then of course you reach the end of the road and you encounter Gaudi's divine masterpiece La Sagrada Familia. Words cannot describe how amazing that building is.. Overall I would highly recommend anyone on a small-middle budget to stay at the hotel. The hotel is terrific for its type and is blessed with a fabulous location.

“Great for a city break”

I can't believe this is a one star hotel. It's true it wasn't sumptuous, but it was clean, very comfortable and in a great location 5 mins from Sagrada Familia and close to the Metro. The staff were friendly and smiled at my attempts to ask for the room in Spanish. I'd recommend it to anyone planning a short break in Barcelona and will certainly stay next time I return.

“Quite impressed”

Hotel was definitely value for money. Perfect for anyone who prefers a decent hotel at economical price. Rooms were quiet clean and well presented. This hotel is definitely more than one star category - much better than the 3 star accommodation i had in paris few months back. People planning to stay in the room may feel a bit annoying with the occassional noises from the bathroom in the adjacent rooms.

“Ok budget. Triple rooms snug. Location average.”

Party of 6 at hotel. Had 2 Triple rooms. Both rooms had 3 singles in - 1st room beds tight together so crush for all three occupants. 2nd room more room for beds and better appointed. Bathroom clean and modern. Overall ok for short one or two night stay when not in rooms a lot - good price, average location, ok lobby etc. Would say that for our type of party (stag/football) would be better served by place nearer beach/port area. Bit out of way in back streets/locals area

“cheap and perfect for two or three nights just need a room geex!”

perfect location for this hotel nearby everything walking distance. Just remember girl to bring ur hair dryers or barrow the hair dryer from down stairs in reception area My husband and i went for two days and went to eveything you would do in a week we dont care about commodities we just need a shower, roof and bed. You needs the fancy chandeliers and such when u want to experience the country not where ur staying for a few nights please!

“Good Location”

The Hotel is very basic...we stayed in a triple room and admittedly the beds were really close together and the room itself wasnt that luxurious! However it was clean and the lack of luxury wasnt an issue for us as we were only there for a few days and hardly int eh hotel at all...the beds are comfortable!! The location of this hotel is GREAT! its about a 5 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia and Gracia (the hip hangout of Barcelona!) so we had the best of both worlds...easily accesible from the airport and close to two metro stations. if you do not intend to spend much time in ur room then i would recommedn it! The hotel staff are very helpful and polite!

“Very good value”

This hotel has only got one star but is worth to go to. It had everything I needed (a bed, en-suite bathroom and night porter). The room was big enough for two people (for a short period of time) and it was very clean. The standard is very good. The hotel is in a nice area just next to the San Pau Hospital (close to the Sagrada Familia). I can recommend this hotel!
