“cant wait to go back”
hotel staff were really friendly,room very clean and comfortable,would recommend it, and would go back.
“Great Location”
Hotel is in a great location. Very clean and large rooms. Bed very comfortable. Elevator a little slow but thats ok we walked the stairs for the exercise. Would definitely stay here again. Right in the middle of everything.
“very convienient location at the heart of the city”
hotel is extremely well situated just metres off the main catalunya square. rooms are simple and could do with a refresh in parts. OK but doesnt justify the relatively high prices.
“Wonderful Location! Right in the middle of everything!”
Although we had some preliminary problems with the air conditioning, they were rectified within a reasonable amount of time. We found our room to be spaceous and comfortable. We found the desk clerk helpful in obtaining restaurant recommendations and taxi. The location is central to shopping and strolling down Las Ramblas to the port. I would recommend this hotel and should we return, would book there as well.
“Great for the city”
The location of the Husa Barcelona was ideal for our holiday. It is right on the place de catalunya which has one of the more major train/metro stations on it, and is at the top the la rambla. The hotel itself was clean and tidy with reasonable amenities and helpful staff, in my opinion it is more of a 3* hotel than a 4*, but it was an excellent place to stay. We had a room facing the road and were not woken by the noise which was good.
“Perfect location for city sights!”
Great location, short stroll to top of Las Ramblas, and the tourist but stops for the north and south routes, and only 10 minutes walk to the Gothic quarter. No restaurant in hotel but directly opposite are a couple of cafes and many more places to eat and drink nearby so did not miss this during our stay. Our room was clean, tidy and spacious with a balcony which was a nice touch, all in all a very good value for money hotel. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone looking to spend a few days on a Barcelona city break if for nothing else it's excellent location and value for money.
“Great location, large room, so-so quality”
Pros: I loved the location, very close to the Plaza Catalunya, only 1 block away. Also nice balcony, and very large room, big floor-ceiling mirror, there was even a sofa bed and small single sofa-chair-bed. Cons: Our "double bed" was actually two singles pushed together. Their internet wireless while free didn't work with Macs/iPad/iPhone. I realized after midnight (we got in late) that there weren't enough blankets, and I had to go myself to get one from the lobby since there was only one person working the front desk/hotel at night. The lobby itself is very small and shabby, the elevators look like from the 1920's, extremely small. Also walls/door a bit thin, I could hear people talking next door. The noise from the street (it was a holiday and people out all night) was very loud. Overall, though, for the price and location and the large size, it was worth the stay, if only my internet had worked!!
“Excellent location.”
We travelled as a bunch of guys on a 'stag' weekend. None of us could be described as 'rowdies', a couple of the guys were in their 70's! We found the Hotel to be very welcoming, extremely clean, although our rooms were not what you would describe as modern. The beds were comfortable and the location was second to none. There are two good quality restaurants in the same road and a nice bar opposite. Really close to Las Ramblas but having seen it, I'm pleased we stayed off the Ramblas itself. Loads of 'Designer' shops nearby too, for the ladies. We would go there again anyway, maybe take the girls next time.

Best point - Location. (handy for most things) The hotel is very adequate rather than outstanding. - But good value for money. I would consider returning.
“Location makes up for shortcomings”
Not bad for a European hotel. Room was well kept and clean, but mattress and pillows were hard. Hardwood floors and an office-type chair meant no real comfortable place to sit and rest. Supurb location right next to Las Ramblas and the metro. Staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English.
