Fabulous hotel really glad we booked here
Fabulous. We were at the hotel for 4 nights and it was really convenient for everything. The bar in the hotel was fab and the service charming. Highly recommend. Oh and great value for money. Breakfast was a bit lacking and glad we didn't include in the price.

Heater not warm enough. Still feeling cold in the room although only autumn. Staffs service very good and polite. I bought many items from taobao and staffs also happy to receive on behalf. Will come back again and introduce to my friends also

Beer Garden and the garden outside of the hotel are very beautiful. The location is excellent: close to shopping districts and the Palace Museum.

An absolutely beautiful hotel
The hotel was wonderful and very well situated. My only regret was that we were there only for one day because of a long layover. I will definitely go back there again.

The classy but traditional Chinese decor was perfect for a Beijing hotel. The front grounds are beautiful and the location is good. The beds were on the hard side, but not terrible. Some staff were nice and helpful, but others seemed like they didn’t want to help, though they could speak English very well. The biggest problem: the WiFi service was terrible and barely worked, even after I asked them for help getting connected. For that reason I will look elsewhere next time I stay in Beijing.

English speaking staff spoke very little English. Chinese customer service is pretty terrible-we ordered room service twice and had a terrible experience each time as person taking order was very rude and downright difficult. Cantonese restaurant at hotel brought me one glass of juice, then charged me for a whole pitcher of pear juice that I did not drink. Also tried to charge me for using paper napkins on the table. Shouldn’t a napkin be included in the price of the dish? Scallion pancakes were good!

The location was great and as expected. The room was really spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and water bottles provided every day. The biggest disappointment was hardly English speaking staff (which was one of the main draws for me to choose this hotel). I had a breakfast buffet once and while it provided variety of interesting choices, I still think it was overpriced. The site indicated I could use the Amex for a payment, but then they did not take it at the hotel. The reception staff was not helpful in helping me understand this discrepancy. A nice touch was that upon a check-out I was able to leave the luggage for 2 days free of additional charge while I was traveling outside of the city. I also took a dip in the pool once, and it was ok. However, I would not stay here again and I feel it is not suitable for a foreign speaking solo traveler or worth the price.

Excellent location for local restaurants, visiting the central Beijing/Tienanmen square. Beautiful hotel with little traditional gardens or park. Comfortable rooms served by friendly and professional staff.

I did not enjoy very much - small rooms with thin walls. A few neighbours on my floor were with kids who looked less than 3 years old. On my first night I had to talk to the room service to let them be quiet, and I saw parents (2 adults) and at least 2 kids staying in one room..not sure if this hotel has a policy for the max number of people staying.

The hotel was clean and nice. The front desk staff were all very helpful and polite. It is located aboit a 10 min walk from the metro line. From there you can transfer to the airport express quite easily. Overally a nice comfortable hotel.I would recommend it.

Good location. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Very clean and comfortable hotel with good breakfast buffet at reasonable price. I would highly recommend this hotel.
