There is also a cigar lounge, souvenir kiosk, hair salon, art galley, silk shop, antiques store, and health care store.

It hosts 2,000 people in theatre style or 800 in classroom style. The pillarless Grand Ballroom is 742 square metres (7,984 square feet) and may be divided into four. It hosts 800 in theatre style or 400 in classroom style. The function rooms vary in dimension from 56 square metres (602 square feet) to 297 square metres (3,196 square feet), hosting groups from 20 to 240 people. There are also extensive foyer areas.
Rooms
Guestrooms at China World Hotel Beijing are decorated with abstract artworks and earth tones in brown and olive. All have armchairs, as well as executive desks with ergonomic chairs, multi-line telephones and lamps. High-speed Internet access is complimentary in all guestrooms. Cable/satellite TVs offer premium channels such as CNN, HBO, and BBC. Minibars have refrigerators, complimentary bottled water, and tea/coffee kettles. Gourmet Deli - Gourmet takeaway food. Sandwiches, pasta, salads, confectionary, and chocolates. Wine and hot and cold beverages. Located in west wing of Tower One in World Trade Centre. Open daily from early morning to early evening.
Recreation
China World Hotel Beijing's recreational facilities include a health club equipped with spa tubs, steam rooms, sauna and solarium. The large fitness centre has cardio equipment, strength-training machines, and free weights. Aerobics and yoga classes are also available. There is also an indoor swimming pool, table tennis table, squash court, and a massage centre. There are three tennis courts, which cost RMB 130 (US$17) per hour during the daytime, or RMB 230 (US$30) evenings and weekends. Racquet rental is RMB 50 (US$6.50) per hour. Bicycles may also be hired from the concierge desk.
Ice-skating is available in the adjoining China World shopping mall. Recreational opportunities in the city include tennis, badminton, pingpong, and basketball in the Dongdan district approximately 2 km (1.5 miles) from the hotel. Beihai Park, adjacent to the Forbidden City, contains open spaces and playgrounds suitable for children. The nearest golf course is Hua Tang, some 20 km (12.5 miles) from the city centre.

Great hotel, extremely relaxing. Very classy and exotic. Within walking distance to the Silk Market too.

My wife and I travel quite a bit. This was without a doubt one of our most pleasurable hotel experiences ever. We felt as if we we were treated like visiting royalty. Couldn't be happier.

Stay on the concierge Horizon Floors, free breaskfast and wine with Sushi etc in the early evening. 7 minute walk to the silk market where all the fake goods are and bargains galore!!! Starbucks is 1 minute from the lobby and the room service is good.
