“Amazing Hotel”
This hotel was the best hotel i have ever stayed in. My only grumbles are the restaurants are wildly overpriced and they left water out in the room every day. We presumed it was free but we got stumped with a bill for 50 pounds at the end of the week. Question everything that is sent to the room. Whether it is free or not.
“Soft bed and a pillow menu, what more could you ask?”
Although Sofitel Wanda is not in the city centre it is close to the silk market and the subway. The room was large and clean, the service was outstanding - we arrived at 7am and they had our room prepared and turned down for us by 8am and they gave us a drinks voucher to get a coffee while we waited. The swimming pool was lovely, we didn't use the spa or gym. The bed was soft and comfortable and they had a pillow menu. The concierge was very helpful and made arrangements for transportation to the airport for us. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend this hotel.
“Will definitely go back”
This is a true five stars luxurious hotel.Most of the staff speak good english and they are very well trained.They are always smiling,willing to help and are very polite.The room is spacious,bright and very clean.The bed is large and comfortable.Bring your laptop and the internet cable is provided free of charge.There are 2 LCD in the room and the DVD player will be provided free of charge as well on request. The location is good and is only 5 minutes walk to Wallmart Supermarket where you can find everything you need. The hotel is extremely well maintained and is in an immaculate condition. My husband and I were very pleased about the services provided by the hotel staff which are very professional and courteous. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a good time in Beijing and I can't wait to go back with my family in the near future.
“Expect the best service and still be surprised!”
Absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Attention to detail, newest materials the staff were all very friendly and made sure that everything pleased us. You simply feel great when you're staying at this hotel. It is 10 min from everything by taxi and the taxi are inexpensive. Just a great place to stay. Hotel breakfast buffet - please do it at least once! It is amazing!
“Top notch concierge service”
The concierge I met (Hector) was the best I've met. He always went out of his way to help us, whether getting us the best dining recommendations, obtaining transportation for us for our day trips, translating our multiple requests and destinations to taxi drivers, and even getting us transportation when it was near impossible due to a citywide closure due to rehearsals for the 60th anniversary celebration. The service he provided would be the reason I come back, period. The hotel itself was beautiful.
“Excellent 5 star value”
Very impressed by the hotel, and particularly the level of service offered. The staff can't do enough to help you and the room was clean and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location is convenient enough (on metro line 1, only a few stops from many of the tourist hotspots). The breakfast buffet is a little pricy (as to be expected from a five-star hotel) but absolutely worth trying at least once! My only complaint was that a DVD player wasn't provided (as advertised) and we never managed to get working the one they supplied - just a small thing!
“The glamour of Beijing city and hip stay.”
The Hotel is really glamour, the interior and services has a touch of modern and glamour, it is close to the underground train station, on the main line to shopping and tourist places. Aware that the hotel is in the financial area, so do not expect to see or taste cheap local food, if you are looking for a touch of flair/luxury, I highly recommend this hotel.

Very impressive hotel, centrally located. Staff were very helpful organsing guides, tours and taxis.
“Good choice”
it is better and cheaper than Grand Hyatt, with better service.
