“Better than its star rating”

This is just a little motel in Belleville, Ohio. I stayed there because I booked my reservations late for Family Weekend at Kenyon College, and all the closer spots were sold out. But it was a nice surprise. It's extremely clean, well-run, and the staff and manager are friendly and personable. The manager did a lot to make my stay convenient.

“More bang for your buck”

I was pleasantly surprised at the Days Inn, Belleville. I have not stayed at one in a long time; appears to be refurbished older motel and they have done an excellent job. I have stayed at higher priced hotels and have not had as comfortable a night. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be back.

“Will stay there agan”

Next time I go back to the Mid-Ohio race track and don't have an at the tract RV to stay in I will stay here. Close but not too close.

“Basic”

A roof and a bed and wifi. All working and clean if far from new.

“It's a place to sleep.”

It's typical for a Days Inn. The bathroom is small without grab bars, mildewed grout in the shower surround. The room was relatively clean with clean linens & towels. We liked having a mini refrigerator in the room. We didn't drink the beer a previous patron left behind. It was difficult to locate a plug in so we could use the free wi-fi. (We pulled out the nightstand.) The freeway is nearby - white noise if you are use to those sounds. The "exercise room" shares space with the laundry. You can jog in place or lift weights by hefting your laundry basket. The free carbohydrate rich breakfast is ok. We enjoyed the make your own Belgian waffles.

“Needs Remodeling”

Hotel, especially bathroom, needs remodeling.

“Not the best”

Old, holes in curtains, burn holes in blankets. Rock hard mattresses. Ventilation sucked cigarette smoke from balcony outside, into the room , which was supposed to be non-smoking. Not the best. Could use some major updating.

“Closest to Mid-Ohio--Stay Here ONLY as a Last Resort”

Hotel staff was rude, and the room was drenched in smoke smell. The building's exterior was poorly maintained. The location was great as it was only 7 miles to the racetrack. Stay here only if the other hotels in Lexington are filled.

“Inexpensive, but needs maintenance”

I stayed at the Days Inn in Bellville because of a discount coupon, but won't be staying there again, I think. The place was inexpensive, and the room had some plusses--strong (but slow) free WiFi, a small microwave and refrigerator, and an older, but working, TV. But the place needs work. The wood toilet seat was chipped, a fine spray came out of the right side of the handle to the sink faucet, and the A/C unit was old and noisy. The breakfast was free, but on the skimpy side. I ended up going to the McDonalds next door.

“Dinkiest Days Inn”

Would not stay there again. Initially booked for 4 nights and left the hotel/motel after 2 hours. Not up to our standards for convenience, cleanliness and amenities.
