“Great hotel, a hidden gem”
This hotel was better than I expected, In addition to clean room and great service, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I was impressed with the security detail as well since the hotel is located in a very crowded commercial area. The hotel has an excellent restaurant attached to it. Overall, great experience, would recommend to any one who travels to Bangalore.
“A well run independent hotel that is ideal for the business traveller to Bangalore”
This is a very well run hotel. It is privately owned and it shows as they try harder to please their customers than many of the international chains that I have stayed in. It is ideal for a business traveller who wants a centrally based and extremely good value hotel in central Bangalore with a good sized, well maintained double room with A/C and fast and cheap wifi internet access, but doesn't need the extras like a swimming pool, gym etc that you usually end up paying for and never getting to use! The staff were all smartly dressed, polite, knowledgeable and attentive- without becoming a nuisance. I would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting a good value hotel in Central Bangalore

“Far exceeded my expectations.”
This is an excellent hotel and is way better than I expected for the price I paid. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and the room was perfect. The sheets were pristine, the bed comfortable and the facilities in the room were great - kettle, hair dryer, safe, fluffy slippers, the lot! There was hot water every time I wanted it - something of a rarity in Indian hotels in my experience! The hotel was in a great location to reach all the main landmarks in the city, and turning left and left again out of the hotel I found a couple of friendly bars nearby.

“Gentle respite in a busy Bangalore”
Hotel Bnagalore Gate has earned its Expedia award. We found the room clean and comfortable and staff very eager to make our stay positive. They quickly knew our travel pattern, offered helpful ideas and always ackbnowledged us as we left for the day and returned. The Room Service breakfast was a welcome respite to the Indian food for American travelors. Also....the business center/computer access was free and welcome also.

“A pleasant stay at the BGH”
We were very happy with the hotel. We had a few problems, for example a noisy extraction fan below our rooms was a disturbance, but when we mentioned it to reception, it was dealt with promptly. All in all a pleasant experience, value for money, and we have already booked rooms for our return.
