“Wonderful hotel!”
Very very very lovely hotel!
“Highly recommend the hotel just not the area!”
Upone arrival I was greeted by two very friendly and helpful desk clerks, one of which checked us in a timely manner. The lobby was very clean, open and bright with a view of the indoor-outdoor pool. There was free coffee (tea, hot chocolate & spiced cider) offered throughout the day and being a huge coffee fan, I can honestly say that it was freshly made and quite good. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and offered a view of the gazebo, trees and pool area. The pools and hot tub were clean and "nice" towels were readily available. My daughter complained about needing our room keycard in order to enter the pool area, exercise room, vending area, etc, I thought that it was a good precaution as most hotels allow easy access to the public whether they are hotel guests or not. If I have the occasion to be in the area in the future I would return.

Stayed at the Marriott Courtyard, Benton Harbor to attend a family wedding. The location was very convenient. The shopping that is available just across the street made for comfort and peace of mind for last minute needs. Very comfortable, nice decor, friendly front desk.

Hello Travelers, This was our first trip to St. Joseph MI. My husband and I enjoyed our visit. The hotel and room was clean, staff courteous and attentive to requests. The hotel is convenient (10-15 minute car ride) to the Silver Lake Beach attractions and dining locations. On our next visit to St. Joseph MI, we’ll definitely choose this hotel. Mr. & Mrs. O

I chose this hotel for its price. The room was well-priced given the surrounding B&B options. Because I was traveling with a baby - B&Bs were out of the question anyway (they don't allow kids). The hotel is right off the interstate and about a 10 minute drive (ask for directions at the front desk) to Silver Beach. Pleasant stay, decent breakfast buffet ($5/person), nice indoor/outdoor pool. If I return to the area, I'd stay there again.
“Worth the higher price tag?”
This hotel is of good quality and comfort, however there are other properties nearby that are of equal quality, but are lower in price than the Courtyard by Marriott. The breakfast is not included in the price, which is another feature travelers do consider in the overall picture. I did appreciate the daily newspaper and the staff's willingness to mail a couple letters with their out going mail.
“OK”
Our main complaint was the cleanliness of the pool and the hot tub. Both were pretty nasty.
“Smelly!”
This hotel smells. They pump an obnoxiously strong baby powder scent into the rooms to cover up the stench, but once you go into the hall you are hit with strong BO or something awful. Plus the pool was dirty.
