“Hotel was in a good place and clean”
Location is nice
“Hotel selected for college age daughter”
I chose this hotel for my college age daughter and friend to begin their three week stay in Europe. They loved the area and felt safe and loved the hotel. The two are vegetarians, but after seeing the beautiful breakfast buffet, decided to eat meat while there. They said the bacon was the best they ever tasted. Got them off to a good start and put my mind at ease.

The hotel is very easy to get to from the public transportation. The room was very nice with a bathroom in the room.
“Very Nice and Convenient”
My wife and I were very pleased with the Berlin Plaza hotel, located just a few doors off Ku'Damm and only 6 blocks or so from the Zoo Bahnhof. Hotel was very clean, service was great and the breakfast was fine (coffee wasn't very good, however). We expected a tiny room from other reports we had read, but were pleasantly surprised by the room size, not that it was huge. We found the hotel to be an excellent value for the money and would definitely stay there again given an opportunity.
“Convenient, Quality Hotel at a value price”
Conveniently situated just off the Ku'damn, a few hundred yards from Bus(Ku'damn bleibtrstrasse), S bahn (savignyplatz), and U bahn (Uhrlandstrasse) This Hotel offers, a First Class Service and amenities for what I would consider a value price. The reception staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, and will even sell you a Daily, or 7 day Ticket covering all Transport in the Berlin ABC zones. Rooms are clean and comfortable with spare capicity in the mini bar fridge (handy for those presents for home)and, a good selection of non-german TV stations, and films(extra cost). There is a Restaurant attached which is open from 09.00 through to 01.00, which serves traditional Berlin fayre (until 23.00), and is a great place for a nightcap. I have stayed there 5 times now and have always appreciated the substantial buffet breakfast. The recent addition of free Wi-fi facilities to every room has certainly added to my latest visit. Looking Forward to my next stay
“Berlin's Best Hotel”
this is a great hotel, with excellent service, food, and clean comfortable rooms. It is also on the Ku'Damm, which is a great location for West Berlin. I felt completely safe in the vicinity of the hotel and I highly recommend this hotel
“Pleasant Trip & Accomodations”
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I found the hotel to be perfectly located in proximity to the Kurfurstendamm strip. The hotel staff were helfpul, polite & on-point. I would highly recommend to anyone a stay at this hotel.

Lovely hotel, small but very nice room. Great amenities. Extremely functional. Everything you need, but the bed was uncomfortable. Needs a new mattress. Charming restaurant. Fabulous location.
“Excellent base for Berlin visit”
A well-placed base for visiting Berlin. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is excellent (cereal, continental cold meats and cheese and/or bacon & eggs), and rooms are compact but comfortable with good shower/toilet and a mini-bar/fridge (but no kettle, as is usual in continental hotels). There is also a restaurant serving traditional dishes. The Plaza is easily accessed by bus 109 from Tegel airport (get directions from hotel website; bus indicates where to get off) and is just off the bustling, up-market Kurfurstendamm which features numerous designer shops and many cafes and restaurants (and a useful Netto supermarket nearby for any food or drinks!). The major city sights and museums are beyond easy walking distance but the hotel is well-placed for all of the city’s efficient travel services (bus, U-bahn and S-bahn stops are all nearby). And it seems the hotel doesn’t take school parties (once experienced, preferably never repeated!), so all is relatively quiet. All in all, an excellent stay – we’d happily use it again. PS. A ‘French’ bed is a double – had us wondering for a while!
